“OK, this is gonna sound a little weird. I have not gone into this place. As a matter fact, I haven’t even talked to him for some reason I saw their sign and I saw Toyota written somewhere and I’m restoring an old Toyota supra. So I thought I’d look them up and I read these reviews.I’m 2 1/2 hours away, and when I get ready to get my supra or any of my cars worked on, I’m gonna try to bring them to these people. “I was referred to GP&G by Jerry's Transmission in Hueytown as one of the best mechanic shops in the area. When I arrived the owner said it would be two weeks before they could look at it. It did take two weeks but then my car was fixed in a day and they did an oil change. They fixed the sensors, steering column, and crank shaft. The staff is friendly and honest and the prices were more than reasonable. My car is driving as if it were new. They even delivered my car to my home a few miles away when I couldn't make it there on time from work. I would highly recommend them as they were worth the wait.”

“We traveled from Maryland for the Thanksgiving holiday and needed some work done on our Volvos prior to driving back home. The owner Alex, waited for us to arrive although it was near to their closing time. Once we arrived he was efficient and knowledgeable about our cars. Repaired the Volvos and made sure sufficient air was in our tires in record breaking time. We drove back to Maryland without any issues. Great place with exceptional service! If we lived near Birmingham Alex at GTech would be our only mechanic!! Two thumbs UP!!”

“Heading to Florida & got halfway to Florida from Kentucky. My vehicle started misfiring on Thursday evening, woke up stupid early to get to a dealership that told me they couldn’t even look at my vehicle until Monday. I was going to risk it & try to make it to Florida. My vehicle almost stopped so I pulled over on the next exit & by the grace of God Hatfield was on this exit. They brought my vehicle right in & did the work I needed for it. These people pretty much saved our vacation! “Edit: They eventually put someone on it who got a quote done and sent it to me. So I appreciate that.They were recommended to me by my insurance company for dent repair. I went in with my car and they said they would call in a day or two when their guy came. No calls. I followed up a few weeks later and he was unapologetic. He said he hadn't talked to me before, but I could bring it in and they could maybe call their guy to come look at it. I felt like I wasted several weeks with them.”

“The best place to get your car fixed. Best customer service. I had a flat tire. I reached out to them and they said they did not have any roadside assistance but bring it in whenever i can and get it fixed. I had a 2 hour wait but the manager Mike over there is so nice that he couldn’t make me wait so he pushed it in front and got it done asap and said I am good to go. “I have to say that James and Suzanne are life savers. As I arrived in Birmingham the night before my appointment my check gages light came on showing low oil pressure. I called 6 different shops to have it checked. Sorry we are busy, sorry we dont service vehicles that old, sorry we don't service Dodge. When you are 3.5 hours from home this can be very overwhelming for a 63 yrs old woman. From the moment I walked in they made me feel like everything would be okay. After checking things out it was the sensor and not the oil pump. I was back on the road in a couple of hours. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their vehicle looked at.
