“Excellent stay at Gunrunner! This is such a nice boutique hotel. The staff was friendly, helpful and very accommodating. Fantastic bar too! Restaurants are close by and walkable. This is our hotel from now on whenever we go to Florence.”
“Absolute 5 star customer service. When I arrived late for a two night stay, there was no parking available. The front desk attendant, Melanie, was determined to help. She moved her own car (only after I had pulled around in the parking lot, just in case) and gave me her space.

“We are on a 3 week trip in the southern USA, staying in mostly Hampton Inns by choice. This one is the first to earn a review from me. I was pleased with how most all features of the room were functioning well and in good repair. I especially liked the decor colors and artwork. All amenities were fully supplied.
The next door Applebee's was great for getting dinner without driving anywhere.”
“Everything was wonderful.. only 2 issues was that the hot water only lasted for roughly 1 min and was then the equivalent of jumping into a frozen lake temperature and the people staying above us were smoking weed pretty heavy and was all we could smell/ leaving a dog in the room alone for a few hours allowing it to bark and scratch around keeping us awake . Other than that staff was awesome and breakfast was really good.”

“My wife and I went for a quick getaway for our wedding anniversary. We stayed during the week in the middle of June. The renovations are complete. The double queen room was uniquely decorated with a theme focused on The Shoals. We stayed in a room with a view of the pool, but we were able to see the river as well. We had dinner and breakfast at Swampers, and both were delicious. The pool area is really nice too and relaxing. We took advantage of the recently completed River Heritage trail next door to the hotel that belongs to the City of Florence. A great getaway that we will do again!”
