“Without a doubt, the nicest (in every possible way) grocery store in the Shoals. Having been to a few others, I'll add that almost anywhere there's a Publix, it has been the nicest store in the area. I cannot say enough about the staff. Compared to the grim faces one is accustomed to seeing in Wally World, Publix is an uplifting, downright inspiring experience. No matter the department, the people are genuinely committed to being friendly and helpful. While the stores are clean and brightly lighted, and while that contributes to an overall positive experience, it is the people who make Publix genuinely shine. When I go back to the land of no Publix, I will do so with a heavy heart and I will measure every other grocer by them. Where I live, some will measure up, let alone surpass them. P.S. Try the sourdough. They make it there every day and great heavenly days, but it will make your tastebuds sing arias, whether your having it with butter and jam or making an epic BLT.”
