Quit making your employees asking for a review on the receipts. Makes people not want to come back once after checking out. Very annoying

I seriously cannot explain how wonderful my experience at The Home Depot Hwy 280 was earlier this week. For the past few weeks my childhood dog has been fighting for his life, and what we all feared would happen reached it's fever pitch on Wednesday; We were advised to put him down as soon as possible. In the midst of freak sadness, I drove to The Home Depot determined to build a doggie casket - or, otherwise seen as, a simple wooden box. Walking through the doors, and back towards the lumber section, I quickly came to realize how little I knew about anything I was here to do. Which wood did I need? What hardware was necessary? Were my dimensions even right? I had no idea, so I just started wandering. Before I could stomach the thought that I should probably give up and just go home - I was approached by Austin S. Austin was incredibly nice and personable right off the bat, and quickly the conversation of my dogs soon-to-be passing came up. He showed me nothing but empathy and understanding. Without a second thought he dropped everything to help me not only finalize my dimensions, pick the best wood for the job, cut the lumber, and pick out hardware - BUT HE TOOK THE LEAD ON HELPING ME ASSEMBLE THE CASKET! It was service like I had truly never seen from an establishment, and I hope Home Depot never loses talent like Austin. To wrap up, he priced all the materials together and walked the fully built casket out to my car for loading. Thank you, Home Depot Hwy 280 - thanks to you my precious pet will be honored exactly the way I had hoped. This will never be forgotten!

The Salesman gives misinformation about Delivery and installation. Scheduling makes appointments but installer never shows up. Then they schedule you out another week.

Fine if you know what you want and can run in and grab and go. Don't plan any customer service. The one employee I had to speak with acted like I was intruding on her, "me time."

phone has been ringing for over 4 minutes and NO one is picking up. Trying to see products online at the 28o store and it keeps switching me to MIDTOWN.

I already am not a fan of national chains when it comes to home improvement box stores. But if I had to rank them, Home Depot would be my lowest. But alas, when you need a one stop shop, they are hard to avoid. Especially when buying power tools. Which is what I was doing. And they had a special I couldn't pass up.The downfall for this particular location when looking for power tools, getting someone to help you get it when its locked away. Ask one person "not my department". Go to customer service "we will have someone there shortly". None of which happened.Luckily my wife is much more level headed and patient and told me to go collect the other stuff we needed and she would find someone to make it happen. We had to wait for someone getting keys made long after we arrived to get a very un-knowledgeable person to finally just unlock the cage and still fend for ourselves on what we wanted. But oh boy, then it was time to get some chain cut. Wait, wait, wait, wait. A 15 minute trip turned into an hour. No one knew who the right person was to help. I almost took the bolt cutters that were there to make it happen. But again, a level headed wife made it her mission to find the right person. And after much perseverance, we finally got someone. But even the checkout didn't know how to handle the chain we just got. All in all, terrible Home Depot.

Toni was really helpful and super nice! If I ever had an issue I couldn't figure out, I would definitely come back and ask for her. Super helpful, patient, and positive. I can not say enough about this customer service.

WORST purchase experience I've ever had. different employees saying they can't do things that people there can but apparently they won't ask for help and a total run around on failed promises and false information. never again will they get my business and I'm cancelling current orders that were in transit. 2 weeks of complete BS and I walked when the manager had the gumption to tell me he was doing me a favor by honoring the original sale price. gee, thanks, I'll use my money and time elsewhere

This Home Depot is super convenient to where I live. I have been able to find everything I need from light bulbs to plants to laundry detergent to key copies every time at a reasonable price. My only complaint is (*gasp*) the service at Lowe's is a lot nicer. :/ I hate to say it. Still, the store is always impeccably clean and has everything I need, so I will still shop here.

Super clean super fast super professional. I go here all the time for tool rentals from everything from refinishing floors all the way to roof work. and I love the people at the tool rental. If you go to a home Depot, it's basically the professional version of Lowe's and this one is as good as it gets.

Normally I have good customer service with this location. I went in to purchase a sheet of plywood (4’x8’) and needed it ripped in 3-1/2” rips. Austin in lumber was the associate who attempted to help me. He said “smallest rip we can do is 6”.” Ok.... so what’s the biggest rip you can do? Rip it 44-1/2” and give me my drop now repeat this until your down to a remaining length of 6”, very incompetent.

This Home Depot is just like any other. The selection is pretty standard. I will say that they always seem to have most items in stock. I've never run into an issue where the item wasn't there. It also helps that their website tells you exactly where to find the items I need. The customer service is the beat part. Most of the people here are always willing to help and really sweet. They also have a self checkout aisle that makes it easy to go in and out if you only need something small. Overall a really great store and right on 280 so convenient location if you live around that area.
