I already am not a fan of national chains when it comes to home improvement box stores. But if I had to rank them, Home Depot would be my lowest. But alas, when you need a one stop shop, they are hard to avoid. Especially when buying power tools. Which is what I was doing. And they had a special I couldn't pass up. The downfall for this particular location when looking for power tools, getting someone to help you get it when its locked away. Ask one person "not my department". Go to customer service "we will have someone there shortly". None of which happened. Luckily my wife is much more level headed and patient and told me to go collect the other stuff we needed and she would find someone to make it happen. We had to wait for someone getting keys made long after we arrived to get a very un-knowledgeable person to finally just unlock the cage and still fend for ourselves on what we wanted. But oh boy, then it was time to get some chain cut. Wait, wait, wait, wait. A 15 minute trip turned into an hour. No one knew who the right person was to help. I almost took the bolt cutters that were there to make it happen. But again, a level headed wife made it her mission to find the right person. And after much perseverance, we finally got someone. But even the checkout didn't know how to handle the chain we just got. All in all, terrible Home Depot.

Toni was really helpful and super nice! If I ever had an issue I couldn't figure out, I would definitely come back and ask for her. Super helpful, patient, and positive. I can not say enough about this customer service.

WORST purchase experience I've ever had. different employees saying they can't do things that people there can but apparently they won't ask for help and a total run around on failed promises and false information. never again will they get my business and I'm cancelling current orders that were in transit. 2 weeks of complete BS and I walked when the manager had the gumption to tell me he was doing me a favor by honoring the original sale price. gee, thanks, I'll use my money and time elsewhere

This Home Depot is super convenient to where I live. I have been able to find everything I need from light bulbs to plants to laundry detergent to key copies every time at a reasonable price. My only complaint is (*gasp*) the service at Lowe's is a lot nicer. :/ I hate to say it. Still, the store is always impeccably clean and has everything I need, so I will still shop here.

Super clean super fast super professional. I go here all the time for tool rentals from everything from refinishing floors all the way to roof work. and I love the people at the tool rental. If you go to a home Depot, it's basically the professional version of Lowe's and this one is as good as it gets.

This Home Depot is just like any other. The selection is pretty standard. I will say that they always seem to have most items in stock. I've never run into an issue where the item wasn't there. It also helps that their website tells you exactly where to find the items I need. The customer service is the beat part. Most of the people here are always willing to help and really sweet. They also have a self checkout aisle that makes it easy to go in and out if you only need something small. Overall a really great store and right on 280 so convenient location if you live around that area.

I've been to this Home Depot soooo many times the last few months after buying a house in January. Every time has been a pleasant experience. There's always an employee that can help me and answer any questions I have. I went back today to return a few items I didn't use, dreading the process because returning items is usually a pain. However, it was so easy. The staff was phenomenal. That's why I keep going back.

This is not my normal Home Depot l, but I was in the area and needed some vole/mole repellent for my yard. Those darn critters! Anyways, I went to the right section, but couldn't find exactly what I needed. Thankfully a guy in an orange apron was nearby, and pointed me in the right direction, but also gave me suggestions on which product to use (powder vs spray). I normally have to chase employees down at these types of stores, but not this time! Happy customer!

I could really just copy my review from the other Home Depot I usually visit near the Galleria. I had an order to pick up and the process was seamless! Some other retailers could really learn a thing or two from Home Depot. Seriously! I also had to actually shop for a piece of hardware to make a repair to a French door at home. I was easily able to find an employee who helped me find what I was looking for. He walked me over to the correct aisle and pointed out a few options that could work for what I'm trying to do. Overall, I had nothing but great service from Home Depot and they have very reasonable prices so that's why I have been in there so much recently! I definitely recommend them, especially for the holiday season because they have a lot of decorations for great prices!

Do not think a "reputable" company will stand behind what they do any more than the guy off the street! Work ethic and morals - where have they gone? Dealing with a large company just extends the time to fix the issue . . . too much red tape! You HAVE to sign off on a "mediation" agreement to get the work done . . . but guess what? The mediation company is hired BY the installer's, so guess how that mediation report played out?! Not the installer's fault the floor bucked . .

No check out lanes up. Only 4 self serve lanes open with one employee. It is a weekend they should have lanes open. If I wanted self serve I would order online. Customer service is lacking.
