We received renovation sale advertisement in mail. We decided to go check out some sofas there.At first we visited there on Sunday but they were closed. Online and store signs says they are open on Sunday during their normal business hours.Then we visited on Wednesday at the time of sales event. Their furnitures in all categories in general are so expensive after even their discounted sales price. We walked around in entire store and shocked looking their markings on their furniture. We decided to better leave.While we were there in Hoover area so we decided to stop by at Rooms To Go. Over there we were greeted very well and we found exactly what we were looking for with much better price infect 50% less than La-z-boy’s discounted sale price. No doubt they proud of their furniture made out with quality materials but still price gouging is at its best at La-z-boy furniture store.

The man Mr White was very knowledgeable. He took me directly to the chair I had researched even though I didn't tell him anything else about what exactly I wanted except I wanted a recliner. He answered all of my questions about how the chair is made. I was there with a friend and even though she said she probably wouldn't be purchasing anything he spent time showing her furniture, too. Both of us will definitely be back to purchase other furniture.Update: When delivered the chair was not fully put together and it took them two weeks to fix. Then it a piece broke in it after that and it took another two weeks to get that fixed. The chair sits at an angle that the chair in the store did not and hurts my back. The fine print says it cannot be returned especially after it was so long before I let them know (30days). Well the chair was broken for 30 days and I couldn't sit in it! So I have a REALLY expensive chair I can't sit in.

Buck Julian was the sales rep that helped me. He was very kind, patient and courteous. He made my experience a pleasant one. I am waiting on my furniture to arrive so I cannot provide any experience regarding delivery, set up or comfort at this time.

My husband and I purchased a floor model back in 2021 due to product availability and needing a couch sooner rather than later. We were assured at that time that by purchasing a warranty we would be covered by all damages and/or fault in workmanship. Within a year, the frame has broken in one section, the console is coming apart from the sofa, and the leather is peeling. We've been trying to get this repaired or replaced since mid-2022 however we are never called back. Finally got to a manager today and it was by far the WORST customer experience I've ever had. There is 0 accountability for their product or their services. We were given the reason that they were bought out by corporate and all warranties and representations would not be extended by the corporate office. I will NEVER buy LAZ-Boy (wow, is the name ironic) again. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE company.

We had a great experience. First, Austin Smith met with us on two occasions and helped us with our initial selections. Then, Christi Waller helped us decide on our eventual purchases. Christi gave us expert advice on our space and fittings. She was very, very helpful. Lastly, Scott Burton took our order and helped us with the Financials. Everyone was great!

The most amazing shopping experience with James at the Hoover location---he was able to help me with questions I had about a piece of furniture I was interested in and the eventual purchase. I have been a customer at this location for many years now and always keep coming back for more. Excellent products and everyone is so helpful. They take their time to assist and never disappoint. Fantastic quality and customer service! Thumbs up!

Scott was knowledgeable and enthusiastic. The showroom was attractive withA variety of choices. La-Z-Boy has been a favorite in myUpdate:Several attempts to contact Scott has failed. Questions about delivery times. I decreased my rating from 5 stars to 3 stars. We feel that Scott is avoiding us. We won't shop here again.

I am very disappointed with this chair. It is very uncomfortable and much too large for me. I talked to the manager and he told me that nothing could be done. I’ve bought a number of things from lazy boys but II’m sure I want be buying anything else from your company

Run Down store and high prices and place is not clean! Bathrooms look like they are cleaned maybe once a week and the inside of the store itself! Exterior of the store has dead and overgrown bushes and plants! 280 LazyBoy looks a whole lot nicer and curb appeal as well as other furniture stores along Hwy 150 in Hoover!

Bought a three thousand dollar recliner and told it would be 8 weeks for delivery, I called two weeks ago on the 8th week and they said it was on a truck and would be in the store that week. Here we sit two weeks later on the 10th week and still have not been contacted about delivery so I called the store and NOW they're saying the chair is finished and boxed but NOT on a truck nor has it been shipped from the warehouse to the store yet. They lied! DO NOT buy from this store. PLEASE read all reviews before you buy. They are horrible!
