These tellers are the slowest bankers in the world. On 3 different occasions I have watched them take there time on getting to customers.. They will look you right in the eyes and won’t assist you. They are not in a hurry to get people out. It can be 1 person in line, you will wait at least 10 min.. And don’t go on your lunch. They don’t care, people ruining in on lunch to make a quick transaction only 2 people in line, you will still wait min 10min. The slowest legacy in Birmingham. And they will stand and hold conversations amongst themselves with customers waiting in line. Just ridiculous!! Hate going to this branch…

I've been a member since 1987 when working for UAB as a Research Asst. It was called the "University Credit Union" then. The staff has always been friendly & helpful but they need to seriously stop changing the name. Oh yes, they've done it again.

Went to this location today to deposit a check. I was the ONLY car in the drive-thru in any lane, & I was at the stall nearest the widow. So they had a clear view. The teller told me I had to come inside since my account was with another bank. I'd just made a deposit in the drive-thru in January with the same teller if I'm not mistaken. I had to come inside & wait in a lengthy, slow line on my lunch break for no good reason.Why participate in the Co-OP Shared Branch Program if you're going to discriminate with the quality of service provided. Just opt like like a neighboring Credit Union. That I could respect!Then, the teller requests I pull my mask down as if COVID isn't out & about! I would have been more comfortable doing that in the comfort of my own car.Thanks Legacy for a not so pleasant banking experience!

I've been baking with them since they were University Credit Union in 1995. They WERE the best. The new online program they have is abysmal!! Why did they fix what wasn't broken? I followed the instructions online, but they didn't work. Then I was on hold for an eternity for customer service that ended in tears (never heard from them), Finally, I drove to the bank. The teller updated it about 2 minutes.Now, I am sitting at my laptop trying to check my info, and it keep saying loading...loading....loading....loading - OVER IT! Considering changing banks

Like most, I hate big banks for good reason, so I love the idea of a credit union. I joined Legacy about 3 years ago, and frankly, their technology sucks. However, until recently I could live with it because at least the accounts would sych with my Quicken. Then came the upgrade last month. I see no improvement, and now no synch. Worse, they informed me that they have no intention of a synch - only a download that I will need to upload to Quicken. This is 2020! Now I need to look for another CU or bite the bullet and go back to a big bank.

Terrible. They have recently switched over to a new online platform and have made everyone re-enroll to access their account. For some reason, they did not have my phone number on file so I am unable to enroll in the new online platform and have to call the customer service line to setup online banking. I have been calling for a WEEK, multiple times a day, and have not had someone answer yet. Voicemail box is full so I can't leave a message and I've left my number for a call back multiple times and have yet to receive a call. The second I get access to my account again I will be closing and moving to another bank. Ridiculous.

I have been dealing with this bank over 30 years. I have been extremely pleased. I found them to be exemplary in every way. I lost my husband 6 years ago. I will never forget their kindness to me during that time.

For the first time after 15 years with this bank, I was able to get a credit card and car loan. The process was simple and easy. I'm proud to say love my bank again.

I had a night deposit put in someone else's account! I ask what corrective action there would be with the employee and told none. This was actually the third occurrence. In addition, you write checking they put it in savings; you write savings and they put it in checking. Very sloppy work. Think twice before joining. I would give zero stars if that was an option

Went into a Legacy to use the service center services......the teller told me that she had never done money orders and even made suggestions where I could go get one other than the credit union I was standing in...then I asked about a getting a cashier's check and she told me that I could get either a money or a cashier's check made out to myself...well I dont need it for myself I need it to pay an invoice...so my question is why have signs that state the services are available and then place a ridiculous stipulation where the service are virtually unavailable. I thought the services were in place to make services more available for the consumer no matter whether they are in the hometown or abroad bridging all credit unions together...the Legacy credit union service center on Hwy 31 has not been helpful at all. I am very disappointed. So I marked 1 star but today they don't deserve any!!!!

Loved that the customer service agents are friendly and helpful and quick to answer the phone. I also loved that at 5:57pm the window cashiers were just as friendly as if it were not closing time on a Friday. They handled the transaction and was just as courteous and friendly. Great customer service Legacy. And I don't even have an account there. I was just a passenger!!!!!

This location is kinda "meh." I really like Legacy (otherwise I wouldn't be a member), but some of the behaviors I've seen is concerning at this one. Sometimes based on someone's mood? I usually deal with Birmingham/Downtown without a hitch. The call center though...needs some real improvements. Consider that I'm a 12 year call center veteran, please. I've been an agent, team lead, training guy, QA, and a reporting analyst (yes, in the banking vertical, multiple clients). Just more of an overall thing, rather than a single issue.
