“Once again, City Lumber provides world-class service and actually cares about their clients! I made the mistake of placing an online order with Lowe's for a few deck boards and treated lumber because I was going to have my trailer with me and be running errands and be driving right by that location. 3 hours later no one had pulled the order. No one cared nor would anybody get some one to pull the order together. I spent more time with a supervisor trying to cancel a $600 order than it would have taken for someone to fill the order. If the last thing you ever do is walk into a Lowe's superstore for something, that would probably be too soon. Thank you City Lumber for having everything ready by the time I drove over the mountain and pulled onto your yard. Now I can actually complete my project. Thank you Calbert, Corey, Chip, Jeremy and Jerome.”
“James and Austin are always so welcoming my uncle gets material from here and he is always bragging about how hard they are both always working and how everyone is always just sitting around on their phones. Or no where to be found. Good job James and Austin! Such hard workers and never lazy! Always helping their coworkers and going above and beyond! “We had a great experience with John. He came over, fixed the issues with both of our doors, and then went above and beyond by gluing and staining a broken piece back into the divider between our double doors. Excellent work, and he was very personable as well.”
“We stopped by Home Depot to look at storm doors. They have a larger selection compared to Lowe's. While we were browsing, hubs had a few questions to ask about delivery fees, measuring, whether they haul the old storm door away and more. We couldn't find anyone near the storm doors so we started walking towards the shower doors to see if we could find help there. Two HD employees were down the aisle and I asked them if they could help us. Both eagerly followed back to the storm doors. These two HD employees worked in Appliances. One of them, Ron Wood, went to look for the HD employee that worked in the storm doors area to help with questions. Once the storm door employee was found, he didn't have a tape measure so Ron Wood went to get my husband one. Ron helped him measure the distance from the base to the door handles and the base to the deadbolt. After looking at several doors, we picked a replacement storm door, purchased it and set up delivery. Ron Wood was of great help. “The company has good service. Good delivery times and is an overall good company with excellent customer service. The only real problem the company has is the residential neighborhood that cropped up around it in the last 25 years. Many commenters here do not understand that this quarry existed before the residential neighborhood did. If they don't like it, they should not have built their houses next to it. Seriously, you purchase land near a rock quarry. Because the land is cheap to build your neighborhood. Then you complain that the rock quarry exists bringing down the price of your property. That is like building your neighborhood in a flood plain and then being upset when it floods. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over again. Expecting different results. I consider the definition of stupidity to be doing something you know. Will end badly or irritate you and doing it anyways.”

“Definitely a mix of things for outfitting a home for diy types. There is furniture and appliances as well. There are unique pieces and scavenged hardware from commercial locations that make eclectic home choices such as large chandeliers. Fancy doors and replacement lamp shades.”

“Bought plaster but they only have 50lb bags. Pure plaster of Paris with quartz added no asbestos. Reasonable price only $25 plus tax. They loaded it for me. Employees are helpful and polite.”
