“I have been using HiWAAY internet services ever since Travelers went insane. I've found HiWAAY technical expertise excellent and their availability second to none. In contrast, AT&T and their DSL service was terrible. You couldn't make a proper web page and frequent communication problems, they were clueless. We also tried Comcast internet service but again, their 'web' service was technically incompetent. Comcast reliability left a lot to be desired too.HiWAAY prices are reasonable and they allow user written CGI. In effect, everything needed in a Web server without a bunch of 'layers'. So I keep my Prius studies in basic HTML without having to go nuts.Currently, I'm using a T-Mobile hotspot, $40/month, which worked even during the April 2011, four-day, power outage. I live in a town that frequents storms and power outages if the storm effects the internet in any way they are on the issue as soon as they are aware. The staff is always nice and they have great customer service each time I have contacted them. I've never rented their equipment and any time that I have a issue with the service I've contacted the FCC (just once) they run a home run from the demarcation point.”
