I shop here for my turtle Rafael, the staff is friendly hands down best pet shop in Huntsville Madison area and I use my rewards with them also. Also love the variety of fish

I was bamboozled , I feel, into a vital care membership. The employee there entered allOf my information and actually accepted all terms and conditions while trying to sell me this service. I wasn’t feeling well and so I just wanted to purchase my item and go home. I’ve tried to cancel the membership because It’s just not beneficial to me as It will cost me more to pay the fee than I will be spending in the store. I was informed that my plan is for 1 year and those fees will be deducted until the end of the contract. She was very rushed in her explanation and no offense but her language was very broken and difficult to understand. I do realize that I am stuck with this, but for anyone else, please take your time and read over everything no matter how rushed you may feel. Truthfully this isn’t anything against Petco persay, but don’t allow your employees to do this just to upsale something. I spelled my nameMultiple times and she still entered it incorrectly ( it’s not Bribgeforth)

Every time I visit a Petco, it seems as if the store is undergoing a major restocking. Isles are constantly blocked by pallets of products. It doesn't help that the isles are barely wide enough for two carts to pass each other. Drop in multiple pallets all around the store and it is like shopping in a maze with no clear path to what I am searching for and, if I can actually get to the product(s), there is no clear path out of a section and to the registers. Speaking of the sections, apparently, there is no labeling scheme for the stores to make specific pet sections easier to find. It is all very unorganized and discombobulated.

I would avoid buying live crickets here. After 12 hours, All of mine died and when I called, they said there is no promise they will live. Have been buying from other stores and will not be back (for crickets)

Every time I go into this Petco I find at least one or more dead betta fish. I go in at least every weekend. Petco needs to do better. If you don’t have the resources to properly take care of them, then don’t sell them!! Or at least educate on proper care for these fish. I will continue to write bad reviews every time I go in and find dead bettas.

Being a pet store and knowing what we know about Beta care, it's high time that Petco start following suit with other pet stores that keep their Betas in tanks. Betas deserve the opportunity to survive and thrive while awaiting their new homes. It's 2023, we can do better.

We were looking for XL dog boots for a Great Dane. We found L, the cashier was nice enough to check with another store and they had them in stock! Very nice cashier, went out of his way to help us!

Just stopped in to grab some worms for my lizard, very nice store. Very clean! I wish there was more of a selection for reptiles as I’m looking to adopt a turtle.

I've had bad experiences with Petco in general, and I know about their whole thing that they throw sick or dead or non sellable animals in the garbage. But seriously if your whole goal is to sell animals to trusting people, you the supplier must be a role model!! You had sick birds under your care and instead of being the caring, animal-driven people you should be, you didn't help. You pushed back against a customer who tried to HELP!! You took too long, you gave no medical help to your birds, and today one of them has died due to your poor care. I would never recommend you. What a shame that people can't be considerate towards their own, much less to the animals we owe this planet to. Sick. That poor bird didn't deserve to die. You are to blame, you are responsible. Go give a care
