“My brother's cat had to have an emergency c section and they helped us through all of that wonderfully, They kept us updated about everything.
They even called the next day to check up on her and her kittens! I will definitely keep bringing my pets here.”
“I love the staff. The doctor is outstanding. I took my dog to the ER in Hoover because it was a Sunday and I had just got in from out of town. The dog sitter told me that she was not eating anything just drinking water. So I watched her for some hours then me and my sister took her to the ER in Hoover because my Vet office was not open and she was not looking good. They almost killed my dog and charged me a mint. I didn't trust what the doctor told me. When Monday came I took her to my vet. When he saw her and told him what was going on with her he knew what was wrong. He told me that it may be to late to save her. He did blood work and sent it off stat. He told me to leave her there I was heart broken me and my sister. He called me back and they had to do emergency surgery to save her. When she came out of heat and her wound closed it was infection in it. He said if I had waited another day she would not have made it. It was Pyometra. When I told him that she was not eating only drinking water, and everyone knows my girl dog is very greed. He asked had she just came out of heat and I said yes he knew what was wrong. This was the same things I told the ER doctor but he didn't know this, instead they told me to take her home it was something else and if she was not doing better in a couple of days to bring her back. If I had taken their advice my dog would be dead now. So yes, I love my Vet Doctor and I recommend him to everyone I know with a pet. He is just outstanding beyond words. I will never take my pets to the ER in Hove again.”
“My 17 yo chihuahua went blind. I was so devastated to see him in this state. I really didn’t want to pay for cataract surgery and risk his life. That was over a year ago. He had the surgery and has great quality of life!!!! Dr. Nelms and the staff are absolutely amazing!!!!”
“I can't say enough good things about Dr. Jeremy, he treats your fur babies like his. I haven't had any problems when I have taken my dogs to see him. He has done surgery on one of my dogs and the dog was fine when he healed up.”
“Dr. Stewart is the best! We followed him from his old practice, and even though many vets’ offices are closer to us, we have never regretted our decision. He is extremely knowledgeable and empathetic with a nice dose of humor. The whole staff is so friendly, and the office is beautiful and clean.”
“I've been taking my dogs to Dr Langford for over 15 years because of the attention and care that he gives my dogs. He's amazing with them even the ones that don't like strangers ?”
“We took our dog we adopted from gbhs to Dr. Walker's low cost vaccine setup. It was easily the fastest, most convenient, and affordable vet visit we've ever had. I appreciate his practicality, honesty, and transparency. We will be coming for all future vaccine visits!!!”
“Very friendly staff and clean facility. Had our two dogs stay there many times with no issues. Vets are kind and easily explain the different medications our pets have had to take.”
“This vet is top notch. You will have to wait a bit sometimes but the workers there care, the veterinarian is thorough and it’s really just a place you know you can trust for your pets. Everyone has always gone out of their way to help the many times I’ve come here.”
“I’ve been with David Fuller since I was 8 years old. I’m about to be 33. And I’ll tell you, the man still looks the same! Haha! Brought my Lhasa Apso here, my Chihuahua, my Pomeranian, my German Shorthaired Pointer, Lab, Pitbull, etc. He’s been through several deaths and allergies and puppy parvo with me…. everything. I don’t trust anyone with my pets like I trust Dr. Fuller. Dr. Beck is also a good doctor and takes time to go over everything that matters to you. Some of the staff can be inconsistent at times and impatient or nervous with certain animals, which can cause unnecessary distress. When they are, I address it. But that’s at every vet with young adults learning their job. Most of the time, they are consistent, knowledgeable, and up to par. They always spend the time with you to talk over important issues and make you feel valued. So when wait times are high, I don’t really fret because I know that you can’t have shorter wait times with a popular, good vet. If you want them to take the time to do things right and treat you and your pet like you matter, when you’re in the room, you have to give that same respect to others when they are being seen. I will say, Fridays and Saturdays are very busy compared to other days. And the prices are fair and they always work with you when it’s necessary.”
“My dog got into some rat poison and the doctor his team were able to fit us into their busy schedule quickly and calmly. Great experience considering the circumstances.”
“Working with Barn and Bone Boarding, was a great pleasure. We boarded 2 fur babies, 1 an American Staffordshire Terrier - Lyla, and 1 an Pryador (Great Pyrennes/Lab mix) - Sox. The Staffy was a shelter rescue so we where worried about her being re-kenneled and the emotional effects it might have. The Pryador had never been kenneled (except for early months of house training), so we really didn't know what he would do.
But the staff, sorry that's not the correct term, the Family at Barn and Bone Boarding where extremely pleasant and welcoming. During our babies stay we got daily updates and pics as time would allow them to send. I know by seeing the pics that both Lyla and Sox had a great time. When it was time to pick them up, my wife and I could both tell that our babies had the time of their lives.
We will definitely be using Barn and Bone Boarding for out future boarding needs.”
