Bienville Square is a historic and peaceful park located in downtown Mobile, Alabama. Established in 1824, it is a central gathering place for both locals and visitors. The park has recently been upgraded and looks very beautiful, with a pretty fountain and shaded trees that provide a comfortable environment, especially on warm summer days. The square is clean and cozy, making it a relaxing spot to enjoy some quiet time. Visitors often feed the lively and tame squirrels, which love to eat roasted peanuts brought by visitors. While there is no playground, the park’s green space and scenic features make it a charming place to unwind. Overall, Bienville Square blends history, natural beauty, and community atmosphere, making it an iconic part of Mobile’s cultural and civic life.
I've been going to this park since 2958, when I eas 4. They recently did an upgrade snd it's really beautiful. Be sure to bring a big bag of roasted peanuts to feed our hungry squirrels. There's quite a herd of them, they're quite tame and they love to eat!
