Mardi Gras Park is a beautiful, clean, and lively public park in the heart of downtown. It is a big open space, great to relax with a blanket and food, listen to music, or hang out with friends. The park hosts great events like festivals and the Christmas Tree lighting. It is family oriented, dog friendly, and feels safe for walking and taking in the full city views. The area is also great for shopping. The park provides a colorful and festive atmosphere for locals and tourists alike.
Great park to walk around and relax for a little bit. There’s not much else to do around the area though. However, it’s a short drive from downtown or walk a few blocks.

This is a really nice open space in downtown Mobile! I'm glad they moved the annual tree lighting here!
