“Though I live down by the island, I enjoy coming to LoDa to shop and dine. I love that they have so many events there. I often bring friends to the Art Walk on first Fridays. There is a good variety of restaurants and lots of galleries and shopping places. Street parking can be a challenge but there are several lots close to Dauphin Street.”
“Great gallery in the heart of Downtown Mobile. Offering an always changing display of local artists' work.Staff is friendly and welcomingEvents are held here constantly and it's a must stop during Mobile Art walk which happens every month on the second Friday”

“Sherman has unique experiences good and bad that he is willing to share. Drawing upon the importance of decisions made in life and the results they produced, it impacts people of all ages. His desire to use his notoriety as a professional athlete to influence youth in a positive manner is admirable. His emphasis on the importance of hard work, education, family, making good decisions and giving back is commendable and so needed in today’s society.”
“Okay while I must say this was my first time visiting the Habitat for Humanity store, but what I found was low prices! Yes these are donated items that are being resold, but it's no different than Goodwill or Salvation Army except they are NON PROFIT and they help less fortunate people build and make a home with their lower prices and savings much less than retail!”
“Best parade of 2024!! Bettie Hunter Float was my favorite!! Amazing way to showcase wonderful history and the best throws. Thank you to everyone involved in the parade!!”
“The northern gulf coast residents owe quite a bit of appreciation to Casi and her staff. They work very hard to ensure that any potential environmental issues are thoroughly analyzed prior to implementation. Mobile Baykeeper is held in high regard by the local private industries and governmental agencies that deal with environmental issues. The working relationships that Casi has established with her peers has resulted in an effective voice for those of us who want our concerns addressed.
With the new and politically sensitive environmental challenges coming our way, we are very fortunate to have Mobile Baykeeper representing our concerns.”
“I only use the swimming pool, and I really enjoy it. The water is the perfect temperature, and there's always a lifeguard on duty. Everyone that works there is super nice, and there's lots to do to get in shape.”
“My neighbors moved out and left their cat. So she came to our house. She was so hungry. We started feeding her really good cat food. Her coat started looking better. Then of course she ended up pregnant with 4 kittens. We went to Save a Stray to get the Mama cat spayed, the only male neutered. Two weeks later we took another female to be spayed. And now today we went to drop off the remaining two females to get spayed. They told us they received a grant!! It was only $25 to spay each kitten. They are both 5 months old by the way. I am SO impressed at how professional the team is and how they work together. It’s so easy to get our kittens checked in. If they only had a vet, I would absolutely never go back to our vet that we’ve been using for years. I totally recommend Save a Stray!!!”

“Lovely area, lots of options, I completely agree with all the other posts regarding the sketchy pavement in parking lot. It's definitely one you should hold your coffee bc cup holders don't have shock absorber”
“I went there to get a walker and bedside toilet for a family member. They gave it to me free. I was expecting to purchase them. I will return them soon in the same condition I received them in, which was very good condition.”
“I was invited to my friends 50th birthday party everything was nice the place with a clean establishment was fun safe no drama everyone was there to have a good time and that's what we did I would recommend this place because it's have enough room for a certain amount of people. This is a picture of me and my Cousin”
“I have to say that this is the BEST social service organization in Mobile County. I'm currently going through some difficult times while my husband is hospitalized. I called this organization and reached Mr. Harry McGadney. He was very understanding and compassionate towards my situation. He definitely made life for me a little less stressful. He made the process easy and fast. But most importantly he understood my desperation. He was also very polite and professional. This is definitely an organization that deserves donations and funding. They really can and do make a difference in our community. If I ever win the lottery, Mobile Community Action will be the 1st place I consider to donate too. Thank You for helping your community !”
“This YMCA has so much. A wonderful basketball court, two racquetball courts, a boxing gym and all the weights and cardio machines you need! And it's a place of good values!”
“Great place to find affordable, gently used clothing. Predominantly straight sized but occasionally you can get a pretty good haul for plus size clothing as well!”
“I really love this place. You have to work your way through it to find the gems but I've always found my fair share ? of great items. It's the highlight of my life to come here and search who the bins to see if I could find something I really need or something I could give to my great-grandkids it's amazing.”
