This park was very nice. Clean, family oriented and fun. We go several times a year for different events and the Christmas Tree lighting felt very safe.

Great area for shopping and events going on. The Latin festival happened to be going on when we visited. There were homelessness in the area, sleeping on on sidewalks here and there .

Mardi Gras Park is a lively public park in downtown Mobile, located at 109 Government Street. Opened in 2016 on the site of the former Mobile County Courthouse, the park celebrates Mobile’s distinction as the birthplace of Mardi Gras in America. It blends history, art, and public space to provide a colorful and festive atmosphere for locals and tourists alike.

Big open space no play equipment but can be great to relax with a blanket and food. Listen to music read a book and hang out with your friends. Very clean and has port o potties to use.
