Penelope's Closet is a thrift store that supports women and children in need. It offers a wide selection of gently used high-end retail clothing. While the store is spacious and the mission is admirable, some customers have reported frustration over unexpected price increases at the register. Additionally, the mandatory mask requirement has deterred some shoppers from visiting as frequently as other stores.
Great service and wonderful staff. Huge selection of clothes, furniture and small kitchen items and decorations. Definitely don't go when your in a hurry since there is so much to shop and look through.

It's the best used clothing store in Mobile, in my opinion. I always find something nice there. It's like going into your sister's closet. The prices are very reasonable and the ladies working there are very nice and upbeat. I think I would be happy if I were surrounded by so many clothes!

THIS PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL!! with so many beautiful items available. Everything from art pieces, to a variety of women's and men's clothes, gorgeous vintage furniture and useful gadgets. Prices are awesome. And, of course, the staff are a special treat.
