“I've been renting from IStorage for several years now. Dominique and Tonya provide good customer service and are responsive to any issues I've had as a tenant for which I am grateful. However, the facility bathrooms have never been up to par and need updating, and with each change in management, this seems to be overlooked. If I can get better bathrooms I'd be happy to give it 5 stars.”
“I’ve been renting a unit here for over a year and half. Jeremiah in the front office has been here for I think less than a year, and has been sooo helpful- going above and beyond. I initially had 2 10’x10’ units, and he helped me get it switched to a 10’x20’ which saved me money in the long run. When I was ready to move out completely, he had a cart waiting by my unit with the shortest path mapped out for me and my friends to get from my unit to the truck. If I had a job position at my office or business, I’d hire him in a heartbeat!! Such a hard worker and caring. He is the biggest reason I recommend this storage place! I hope Extra Soace is taking care of a quality employee like him :)”
“Amy at Grand Slam Storage on Grelot Rd. In Mobile, AL was the best! She helped us from the beginning until we closed our unit. Any time I needed anything she was there. If she wasn’t available, she would call me back as soon as she could.
Grand Slam Storage was very clean and the air conditioning was very acceptable.
If I ever need storage space again, Grand Slam will be my place.

“Customer service here is amazing thanks namely to Kristie!! We had to travel from Michigan to Mobile to pick up our things and Kristie went out of her way to make sure we were able to get access to our belongings even on a long holiday weekend! She was willing to meet us after hours to help us get into our unit bc all new doors had been put on the units and we just didn't have a new key yet living so far away. She went above and beyond on several occasions to help us across the miles since we could not easily drive there. Highly recommend this storage unit as it is secure, safe and Kristie always did a great job helping us get info, answers and helped us when we needed it most! Kristie was so helpful and amazing!!”

I left my previous « climate controlled » because I measured the temperature from time to time and the fluctuations were far outside the ranges promised and the management did not care. I needed true consistency and that led me to Airport1

“Very happy with my three years at Extra Space in Mobile. Easy online sign-up in 2022 and breezy closing in August 2025. No complaints at all from start to finish. I enjoyed clean, cool storage in the climate-controlled area all 3 years. If I ever need storage again, I'll be going with Extra Space.”

“Kevin and Marion moved me from Ozark to Mobile and it has been the best experience ever. They are quick, hard working and nice individuals.
We started in Ozark in the morning, and ended at the storage in Mobile the day after. During the night, the truck was kept in a climate control facility with no additional charges. They arranged everything in the storage in such a professional way, and worked so fast!
Kevin advised me to keep my vintage fridge’s door open in the storage, and they both remembered very well to place the plastic boxes by the door the way I had asked them to do. The price was reasonable, and much lower than the estimate. It is better to estimate a higher cost and reduce it later, if it’s necessary, and Kevin will do it for you, as he is fair. Keep it in mind when you hire this great company.
I will definitely use them again when I move into my new house.”

Mrs. Stephen's guided me through the rental process and explained the lease agreement. She walked me to my unit and pointed out access points and amenities (carts, restroom, elevator).
