“The type of stores I love: a labyrinth of shelves with a lot of random stuff covered with dust. Messy, dark, tight. I really love the thrift/antique stores with such atmosphere, much more enjoyable to scroll through than in well organized shops, especially when the prices are attractive. But here prices are medium and up.”
“The Mission of Hope is the best rehab on earth. If you're really serious about getting help from your addiction this is definitely the place to go. They have great leadership and Bro.Grant McLain is just a wonderful human being. I recommend ? The Mission of Hope to anyone with addiction problems. It's based 100 percent on JESUS CHRIST and without JESUS CHRIST there is no hope.”
“Great place to look around- I purchased a cute pair of shorts and a nice top for $5. I don't know what people are expecting but this is a volunteer organization- if you're rude to them, the they should be rude to you. I had an amazing experience. I am from out of town - Pennsylvania- so if you want rude - come to my state. I was very happy and met some lovely women in the dressing area. See for yourself and shop for yourself - wonderful place. Plus it's for charity. Win - Win”

“The Waterfront Rescue Mission thrift shop on Cottage Hill is such a unique shop filled with treasures large and small. The ladies that work in the front are very helpful, hard working and kind, as well as those helping to unload donations in the rear! It’s a joy to donate and shop to help support this great mission. One of the coolest things about this shop is the organization. They usually group related items together in a way that appears like a home; such as pieces pulled together to create a living room, bedroom, dining room, etc. they even place nice China sets on the tables!I love how these ladies have made this thrift shop something special and unique; sets it apart from the rest and helps raise much needed money for the mission. ?? The Christian music is always a reminder of their mission and goals. It’s a joy to support this shop’s mission by donating items and thrifting with fam and friends!”
“It was awesome to see T2T back open at the Flea Market. Really cool to see all the collectibles added to the store. Especially Pokémon! Always something new, every week!”
“This is a great place to find gently used high end retail clothing. This shop also supports women and children who are going through tough times. The Penelope organization is a blessing to our community.”

“Lovely area, lots of options, I completely agree with all the other posts regarding the sketchy pavement in parking lot. It's definitely one you should hold your coffee bc cup holders don't have shock absorber”

“Great place to find affordable, gently used clothing. Predominantly straight sized but occasionally you can get a pretty good haul for plus size clothing as well!”

“I really love this place. You have to work your way through it to find the gems but I've always found my fair share ? of great items. It's the highlight of my life to come here and search who the bins to see if I could find something I really need or something I could give to my great-grandkids it's amazing.”
“I recently visited Plato’s Closet to sell a bunch of clothes and had a very positive experience. The selling process was straightforward and efficient. I simply dropped off my items at the counter, and the staff took care of the rest. Their system allows you to leave while they review your clothes, which is convenient if you have errands to run or just want to avoid waiting in-store.
After some time, I returned to find out which items they decided to purchase. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of cash I received for the clothes I brought in. The payout felt fair considering the condition and brands of my items.
Anything they didn’t buy was returned to me, making the process transparent and hassle-free. Overall, Plato’s Closet made selling my clothes quick and easy, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to declutter their closet and earn some extra cash.”
“I couldn’t be more pleased that I got to get my unwanted stuff somewhere it could be put to good use. It was a blessing for me that they came and got my donations and I hope it blesses someone else . They are very worthy cause . Staff is polite and helpful. If you’re looking to make a donation of any kind I would recommend this organization.”
