“I looked everywhere for a vet to get my kitty in as soon as possible, most wouldn't take me for days or even a week out. Wesson got me in the very next morning. If not for them, my little guy would've passed, as I found out his kidneys were failing him. They took such amazing care of him he defied the odds and is now in recovery. I was able to take him home a few days after bringing him in. I will definitely be returning! The doctor and staff are absolutely amazing and very thorough! They also work with you financially, and are fully transparent about costs which I really appreciate! I'd give them 10 stars if I could! Thank you so much Wesson staff!!”
“Dr Mitchell and Maggie went above and beyond for my sweet girl. Between the herbs, acupuncture and food therapy regimen, my beloved girl's journey with lymphoma was battled with a high quality of life. We traveled about every two weeks from Northwest Florida to see Dr Mitchell and we truly believe he helped her immensely with this cruel illness. Thank you so much, Maggie and Dr Mitchell, for all you have done for my sweet baby.”

I do wish we could download first time paperwork so that it can be filled out ahead of time.My dog is wiggly and isn't comfortable around other dogs,so was difficult to do that with her.Otherwise it was a great routine visit.”

Before administering care to your pet, the staff will break down the cost and thorough explain what is going on. Thus, you are not blindsided later when it is time to pay the bill. “There are not enough stars to give Dr. Murphy and her staff! They absolutely saved my 15 y/o Shihtzu who another vet would have euthanized! I know they day will come when I have to say good bye but my gut was telling me not at this time! I will be forever grateful to have taken her to the Animal Care Center for a second opinion. Everyone is so caring and supportive from the moment you walk in the door. It's not often you find this degree of caring and professionalism but they all will be angels in my eyes!”

“They were fantastic. When I realized something was wrong with my Dean I called SO many clinics and they were the only ones who acted like they wanted to help. The receptionist was the sweetest and the Doctor and Vet tech were so willing to help. Initially I was worried because I know rats arent everyone's favorites but they cuddled and loved on him like he was theirs. 20/10 highly recommend! Photos to show off my sweet man!”

“They were so full of compassion putting our baby down. This is the first time I've felt this way when having to euthanize. Have had to do it 2 other times at different vets and it was not like our experience at this vet today. They sent us home with our baby's paw and nose/face prints on a card, and a small vial of her fur. They even made sure to get both of her colors so it looked just like her markings. I can't believe we have this memento. I can't say how much it means. We randomly found this office a few weeks ago when our fur child suddenly was extremely ill. She didn't make it much longer but both doctors at this office, as well as the techs, helped diagnose, treat and keep her as comfortable as possible during this time. We're devastated to lose her but they helped ease the burden as much as anyone could. I highly recommend this office, especially for end of life care.”

She is so caring and an expert at taking care of our pets. Through ups and downs, she has been there for us, always giving us the best and honest options for our babies. She takes a real interest, and it shows! We have been taking our pets there for over 4 years, and we are always extremely satisfied with all services. I really miss Ashley though. She was the best at making everyone feel comfortable and at home. Her service to this office will be missed by so many clients. I was very sad to find out she left your clinic. I hope in the future of this hospital, that great people, that are irreplaceable, stay, and have great reason to.”

“Both docs came to our home this morning to perform a euthenasia on our 14YO dog that had taken a sharp turn for the worse over the weekend. They came on relatively short notice. They were both very pleasant and considerate - especially given the circumstances. We appreciated the fact that we did not have to drag our dog who was already suffering out to a standard clinic. We would definitely recommend them for home services for others.”
“Friendly staff, clean environment and lots of parking. Just be aware that Google maps puts you on the wrong side of a fenced lot, so you'll have to loop around to their actual location.”
“The staff is kind, but they are very expensive. They nickel and dime you for silly things. They forgot to give my dog her heart worm tag and wanted to charge $10 for another one. They’re teeth cleaning and prices are much higher than other vets in the area. We will be switching.”

“I've had 3 cats see Dr. Lisa for their annual physicals. She and her staff show great empathy to all the animals I see there. My former neighbors surprised me one day when they brought their dog in, and they agree. One of these cats died due to a tumor growing in her lower GI, and Dr. Lisa took great care of her. She passed away at home with her humans at her side. The other two are tomcats, a year apart, and Dr. Lisa was very informative on how to introduce them. Highly recommend!”
“This is the only 24/7 vet ER in Baldwin County.
They do the best they can. AND THEY ARE BUSY!!
Chance II and I came in and we waited 7 hrs....the reason why...he was stable...vitals were checked x2 during our visit and we had nurses that checked in with us when they were able to.
And Dr. Busy came in and spent time explaining her diagnosis and articulated how, why and what she would prescribe moving forward.
Was it a long wait? Maybe...worth it ABSOLUTELY!!

“Dr. Caroline is an exceptional woman and veterinary Doc that clearly (even at 4am) can work wonders in emergency situations, diagnose/treat unusual symptoms and resolve odd problems/symptoms without going through a multitude of expensive tests. She is always there it seems, readily alert, kind and never rushing through leaving complexity and confusion. She cared for our beloved dog of 13 years in his final days and helped us find peace because of the confidence and trust she had earned. There aren't enough stars to rate Dr. Caroline!”
“Dr. Grech and Dr. Bentley were soooo nice and caring. Very clean and smelled nice in the office. So my dog has a hematoma on his ear and the doctor explained how we needed to treat it. They actually saved me money and looking into other options instead of just jumping into doing surgery right away like another veterinarian wanted to do. I LOVED these two doctors and they will be my veterinarians for all my animals now. Thanks you two for your help and making me feel at ease.”
“I have used Small Animal Clinic for many years for vet care and boarding. From the front desk staff to the vet techs and Vets - each has been professional and care-driven. The care my 5 present “little kids” have been given has been exemplary & filled with kindness and care. I have had the hard decision to put two dogs down in the 10+ years I have had them as my vet service - and this was done compassionately to both my pets and myself. I didn’t have forms and charges pushed at me at the front desk like some vet services do before going to the exam rooms - it was all about my very sick pets here. It was ok that tears were streaming down my face…. Nothing was rushed.
I love each of the vets. I love the front desk staff and techs. I can call for a further question not asked at a visit - and a response or prescription is given within hours. I have found both of their offices to be well run and people and pet friendly. I have used both locations if a vet wants to see one of my pets back themselves within a few days for follow up - and while further away - it is fine for me to meet them at whichever one they will be at. They have been a god send! I won’t go anywhere else. They have my complete trust in wanting to make my babies well and happy.”
“This is our preferred vet, I have two corgis and a cat and they are well taken care of here. We had an emergency last year and they were so fast to respond and extremely proactive in communication and treatment. We get in quickly and are comfortable with the price they charge. I particularly appreciate the optional drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon, it makes it easy to keep up with their regular dental visits.”

“Dr. Long is the only vet I fully trust with my animals. My elderly cat had a tumor on her neck in a very dangerous spot for surgery. I was a wreck and scared I would lose her. He assured me he would do everything in his power to help her. She came out of surgery and made a stellar recovery. You would never have known she had surgery because the stitches were perfect. Fur grew back perfect. Over a year later and she is doing amazingly. I 100% trust Dr. Long”

“We had to put our beloved LaLa down Sunday, I called around and they were the first people that I called both Linda and the other receptionist was wonderful! The staff made sure we had TIME to spend with LaLa before we said our final goodbyes! The staff gave us a paw print and nose print along with some hair in a jar, we appreciate you guys and thankful that LaLa spent 15 years with us. If you have an emergency PLEASE call them.”
“The veterinarians have always been wonderful at Westside. When we had to put our twelve year old Sheltie to sleep; our entire family was distraught. The vet was so compassionate, and we were able to say goodbye and love on our sweet girl until she passed.”
