Discovery Village Playground is an old school playground with great size, big trees for shade, and a nice, quiet atmosphere away from the bustle. It was a wonderful place for imaginative play, hide and seek, and picnics, with clear space available. However, it is an aging park that is falling apart in some places, with equipment in disrepair and many areas needing maintenance, repair, or replacement. Some activities are blocked off. It lacks bathrooms. While some parts remain decent, the playground needs to be updated, loved, and restored.
Old school playground. It would be great if the city could throw some money at it. Great for hide ans seek and big trees for shade. It is falling a part in some places.

Was probably very neat when it opened in 2005 but a lot of the equipment has fallen into disrepair. There was new number in the small kid playground. So maybe updates are being planned.

It's a great park, but it needs bathrooms, im a kid, and the problem is that my mom and I had to go home to use the bathroom.
