Horrible experience attempting to set up an account. Over an hour wait then the 2 ppl who came in behind me got called before I did. I do not have an account. Walked out. The parking lot is a death trap, like lunchtime at Chik-fil-a without the god customer service and employees everywhere. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

Worst experience ever in my 30 years of dealing with Navy Federal Credit Union. Went in the branch today. This was not my first time using my sons card to deposit money into his minor account. Yet today after I waited in line for 30 minutes I got there at 4:20. I didn’t get seen until 10 minutes before five. As Naomi and Amber seem to have issues with the two customers they were seeing. Management allowed the line to grow to at least 15 more members behind me. When Amber finally called me up, I swiped my son’s card to his minor account and gave her $280 in cashto deposit in set account. Amber went further to tell me that I couldn’t use my minor son’s card to make a deposit. I was Baffled, so I asked to speak to the manager, the branch manager who is standing directly behind Amber doing this transaction the manager jumped in and informed me that she would finish it. WHAT SHE DID WAS FREEZE MY SONS CARD AND ACCOUNT. Long story short CORPORATE MADE THEM ISSUE THE CARD AND TAKE THE FREEZE OFF THE ACCOUNT. Crazy thing is that Navy Federal Credit Union is currently being sued for mistreating African-American customers on top of that. Most of the employees are also African-American. It’s obvious they do not like their job and have been disenfranchising customers for a while. I thank God for customer service online because of it wasn’t for them. The nameless branch manager would have frozen my son’s Christmas money just to be a bully that is not professionalism. She has anger issues and most of her staff do as well. Everyone is listed down in the pictures except for Naomi. She’s the rudest of them all.

I've been with Navy Federal over 20 years with minimal issues. The Navy Federal app has been down for days and now they put an EXTRA 5 day hold on cashing a personal check due to what they call security reasons. With all of their other new issues I wouldn't recommend banking there.

Ive been with this bank for a few years...it has its flaws...one is check deposits. I deposited a check on a Saturday 11/18 and its now 11/27 and i still am not able to pull from my money deposited. This is the 5th business day and i was told i have to wait 6 actual days to get money released. Ive spoken with several personnel and a supervisor. This is ridiculous. I have payroll to hand out. I will be going to another bank. And closing my account.

Naomi in Montgomery, Alabama was wonderful. She answered all my questions and asked an expert about my IRA question instead of giving me incorrect information. Branch is always clean and employees professional.

Love Navy Federal. But this branch is super trash bag. I came in to get a replacement debit card. The wait is 20-30 minutes. (30-60 min wait if someone is in front of you. I’m currently on min 46 while editing this post)This is ridiculous. It should be more than one person replace a debit card. I now remember why I stopped using Navy Federal due to this branch.

I am a new member, and it was so easy to get what I needed done, from my checking acct, to my savings acct and my Visa card. No problems whatsoever. Everyone was professional. There is one thing I couldn't figure out, was the line to the tellers were constantly long, 7 to 9 deep, but there was no one at the drive through. I was not affected by this, so I give a strong five stars. Finally, signing up online was easy with no complications.

Good company, trash branch. expect to wait a while. 15 people in the lobby and one person (the assistant manager!) in the office helping people while the other employees just sit and laugh or play on their computers and phones. Waiting for an hour just to be seen to pick up a check is ridiculous. Unprofessional is an understatement. won’t be back to this branch, i’d rather drive further to get better service at a BETTER branch. And if you think they care about customer service, just look at all the replies to other reviews. I’ll probably get a generic apology on this review that fixes nothing as well. DO BETTER Montgomery branch.

Slowest bank I’ve ever been to. Been a navy federal member for 10 years and been to branches in 4-5 different states and NEVER experience a slower moving bank. Drove two hours to get here and have been waiting an hour to pick up a CHECK. Lobby full of folks and only 1 single person helping those waiting. Bunch of tellers though. Ridiculous.

This credit union called our business to verify a check someone was trying to cash in that branch that was supposedly from our business. We advised them that the check was fraudulent. The girl on the phone said she suspected that it was, due to the fact that the check number had been altered with white-out. A few minutes later, we called the credit union back to ask a couple of questions about the transaction, and they refused to give us any information, even though they had called us and we gave them all the information they asked for. I just have one thing to say to the person that made the decision not to give us any information...I'd be willing to bet that if someone came to US trying to cash a fraudulent check with YOUR business name on it, you would demand any and all information about that fraudulent transaction, and we would've gladly given it to you because you have a right since it would be your business name on the check.We won't forget how unprofessional and uncooperative you were.

The institution itself is a really good credit union. BUT.... The Montgomery branch is literally the slowest bank I've ever been to in my life. And 99.9% of the time the ATM machines don't work. It's super frustrating when I work 10 minutes away and it takes almost my whole lunch hour JUST to make a simple withdrawal or deposit.

Why is this navy federal always so ghetto, everytime I come to atm only there's a long line that doesn't move and the building not even open at this point, I mean just get the money out and go. ???wtf
