Delivery date was changed with no notice. Had confirmed original delivery date to make sure all was good. Was told yes date was confirm, day came and went. Had to call to find out a change was made.

I went through the entire process, provided personal information and made my first payment, only to be informed I was not able to receive the washer and dryer because of my address which is only 12 miles from the store. Not to mention the fact, I was only informed of this on the day of my expected delivery and after I called to see what time the order was going to arrive, all after taking the day off from work, so I can be home when the delivery guys arrived.

I will never in life rent anything from this rent a center . The workers are very rude there and always telling you what you should send back if you can’t afford to pay . And they call and harass you after you tell them your situation several times . They are very rude and very unprofessional at its finest . They keep switching accountant mangers and switching my payments around and giving me different numbers . As to how much I owe my payments are never account for at this place I don’t even even know what I’m paying for and what it’s going towards .

I have been reading many of the comments about the Mt. Meigs Road store. First of all, to the person that stated they do not have anything in the store. I agree with you, but they changed their policy and now they have to order most items you want to rent. They no longer warehouse items for rent. How do I know this, I have been dealing with them for about 13 years. Yes, sometimes having to wait on an item to come in is an inconvenience, but that is not the employees nor the manager's fault. They are just following policy. If you have an issue with someone in the store speak to the manager and voice your complaint. The worst thing you can do is turn to social media and group all of the staff there into one bad category. I had a problem of one of the collection persons there calling me saying I was late with my payment and he was so rude. The funny thing is that I was on auto pay and they had taken my payment out days before he called me. I spoke with the manager and the next time I went in to the store the rude person was no longer working there. Another time in the summer when I went in there was a young mother trying to qualify to rent an air conditioner because she had young children and it was over 95 degrees for days. Of course she did not qualify, but they loaned her a unit and gave her the name of several organizations that would help her purchase a unit. Guess what she succeeded in getting help and the organization she went through bought the unit Rent A Center loaned her. I love this store on Mt. Meigs Road and I love the people that work there. Just remember you get respect when you give it.
