The entire staff is always excited to see my baby and even the receptionist is super friendly and professional whether in person or over the phone. This is by far my favorite place to take my little one for her needs.

120 W E 2nd St, Muscle ShoalsI was in town for Shoals Fest 2025 and as soon as I got to town I stopped by Sounds Studio for a tour--then spotted Champy's on Yelp. Looked like a great place to grab a beer and a bite before the first day of music. So glad I stopped in! Love the laidback bar atmosphere, open air outdoor (but covered) seating in addition to indoors, and really excellent fresh fried chicken. I got the 3-piece tender plate and they may have been the best tenders I've ever had, tasted so fresh and crispy. There's a 4-piece option but 3 was more than enough, especially with the mac and cheese and onion rings I had as sides. My server accidentally added on fries as well, and I had no complaints. There are many who dislike tenders they deem "unseasoned" and I'm pretty sure most of them just mean salt. As such, they may not like these as they are not salty--but they're tender and tasty and dip them in the Champy's sauce, you're good to go. Homemade thousand island style sauce but with a vineger snap/bite. Good beers on tap and a full bar. Prices are fair, service is friendly. Plenty of parking.
