Felicia,Maurice, and the rest of the staff have been nothing but friendly and have always taken great care of me and my wife. They are always nice and cordial when we visit the store and they never have an issue with answering any questions that we may have. They even called to wish me a Happy Birthday and to check on us to see how we liked everything and make sure there were no issues with anything. “Over the weekend I went to Lowe's to get material for my first DIY project and Jimmie Cole helped me and I have never been the same since. He has been working for Lowes for 27 years he's had a stroke and a pacemaker and all kinds of health issues but is always wondering when he can get back to help his customers. I have never seen such concierge service at a big box retailer before. He carried my material to the saw and cut everything and took me to the register and loaded my car. I did not have to lift a finger all I had to do was be delighted to hear about his amazing life experiences as a veteran and his awesome marriage to his bride for nearly 56 years this December. He was so engaging and pleasantly kind and I had to let the CEO know that they need to preserve customer service like this and they need to use Jimmie as a trainer at all their Lowe's stores. He has already spent 27 years on the floor, if they want to spread this company wide they have got to use him to do it. This kind of service anywhere is rare and for Lowe's to have this type of old school customer love tucked away is a tragedy to their customer experience. Customers like me hit Lowes and Home Depot everyday not knowing how to begin the DIY project that we saw on Pinterest and when we meet employees like this we will run into Lowe's just to get their valuable expertise and confident customer service every time. I left excited about my project and finished it this weekend and would not have been able to get off to such a great start if it wasn't for Jimmie. I contacted the CEO and emailed his assistant and they just emailed me back this morning thanking me for the good news. They plan to contact Jimmie personally. They were grateful to have a customer go out of the way to give them good news because it is easy to complain but it takes another level to go the distance to commend. Thanks Jimmie for all your service to our country and to our community projects at Lowe's. They are so lucky to have someone like you and I pray they don't take your dedication and experience for granted but use it to make their company better everywhere not just at Northport. You are a treasure young man!”
