Had my laptop looked at, it had a bad ssd and operation system corruption. They told me it had a faulty motherboard. Took it home reinstalled windows with a new ssd and was playing games on it that same night. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE IT IS A SCAM!! From my interaction with them they 100% prey on people who don’t understand their own devices.

I contacted Best Buy to have the Geek Squad assess 2 mountings of TVs before we purchased the them( Home Theater). I have always been comfortable with Best Buy and Geek squad. Although, they have outsourced home theater installations (at least in my area). The gentleman that arrived was delightful. But I knew more than him on what was required. Emphasizing a nice person but we walked away less $100 and we were going to spend much more. I contacted customer service for a refund ( out sourced …no problem with that but represent the company you serve) and they said no deal. Guess Best Buy doesn’t really care anymore about their customers. Corporate strategies are distancing them from their customers.

This place is the worst! I had a reservation/appointment for 3:40 got there for my appointment for a screen replacement, the guy ran the tests and everything on my phone getting it ready for repair… SO I THOUGHT! he told me it would take about 2 hours. He calls my bf at about 7:30 I’m thinking my phone is ready but BOY WAS I WRONG! The repair guy DIDNT even start on my phone mind you I had already paid. The guy was saying you can come back tomorrow well NO IM NOT COMING BACK THATS THE WHOLE POINT OF ME MAKING AN APPOINTMENT. 0 stars I definitely DONT recommend this place PERIOD!!! I waisted my whole afternoon

everyone here is always helpful except for Ron. He is an older man with a bad attitude every time I come in the store and he is flat out rude and back talks to customers like an ignorant man that hates his life. he should really work in the back away from customers but I guess Best Buy is okay with customers being disrespected. overall great store but make sure to avoid Ron if you want to leave happy.

I just want to mention how impressed I was with this Best Buy and the wonderful customer service I received today. I was looking for something specific today and a Best Buy employee, Rubin, went above and beyond. So, if you need help finding something and want exceptional customer service Rubin is the person to talk to. I am very grateful for such a wonderful experience.

The Opelika geek squad location has had my AirPods for OVER 22 days! I took them in for a warranty replacement and was told it would be 3-5 days. They don’t give any answers and you can never contact the store directly!! When I track them they have been at a “recycling plant” in Pennsylvania since 12/28 Do not use them deal directly with Apple. I know better now, and I need my AirPods back!

I am very displeased with geek squad and will not attempt to use them again. Trust me people, if you have a microsoft problem: Take a break, step away from your computer, come back 20 minutes later, and google microsoft problem. Geek squad will only add to the stress level. You don't need that.

I’ve been without my living room tv for two weeks now. The first appointment one called or texted and when we had to call they advised the technician had Covid-19. They didn’t have anyone to replace him. I had to wait three more day fo a technician to come out today with no equipment and advise they needed a part for the Hisense Roku tv. If you knew their has been a problem with this tv why weren’t you prepared. We are still waiting on a phone call to see if the part is at the store. Why didn’t you stop by there first? Now, it may be another week for the part to come in and we still have to make an appointment for this technician to come out. I don’t appreciate the unprofessionalism. You all have wasted my time. I want the tv fixed today or bring me another one!

I had an amazing experience at Best Buy earlier today! Their customer service at this location is top notch (on level with chick fil a!). The second I walked in, an employee greeted me and helped direct me to the aisle my product was at. Once I got there, Chaunce helped me get the product that best fit my needs and budget. He was so friendly and helpful. I was in and out of there in less than 5 minutes. I am so impressed!!
