Piggly Wiggly in Opelika is a very old and worn grocery store, but it is loved by many. The employees are friendly, helpful, and seem happy to be there. The store is known for its excellent pork, chicken, and sausage sections, and it carries a wide variety of smoked items. It also has local items that no one else has. Customers can save money using the Pig Deals app, which offers a free item each week, and there is a senior discount on Wednesday. However, the facility is dated, the beef selection is limited, and the meat cooler could use a cleaning. Some customers wish it offered specific items like a particular sweet tea.
Anything and everything here and cheap. The meat prices and quality of the meat is amazing.

I love the Opelika Piggly Wiggly. The pork, chicken, and sausage sections are second to none. I would pass on the beef however. It is quality enough, but only very thin steaks are available.

Best grocery store in Opelika! BUT..... we need to get Y'all Sweet Tea like they have at the Piggly Wiggly in Warrior, Alabama!!!! PLEASE!!!
