“Without a doubt this place serves the best corn dogs that I have eaten to date in Alabama. The batter was light, there was no oil or greasy taste, the inside was hot and when you add Texas Pete and Heinz mustard you are in Nirvana! The rest of the store is your typical convenience store and also sells hard liquor. I did not try any other food items but they all looked good and fresh.The physical location is immaculate, Good thing that the store is relatively far from my house or I'd be as big as a house eating those corn dogs!! Super nice people working the store as well. Nice job.”

“I don’t know why I felt the urge to review this place, but after spending 2 weeks for work down here this place has been awesome. Good (really good, actually) quick food, good location, and every morning the staff are friendly.I think I decided to review after they put my cold drinks in a different bag than my hot food. I travel for work and have been to gas stations all over the country for 17 years and somehow this is the first time anyone has done that. Awesome”

“I go there several times a week. They stay stocked up on soft drinks of all kinds. Candy, cakes and chips. I don't know much about vaping but they stock tons of that stuff. They also stock your 4:20 needs. They l delta 8,9 and 10. They sell things I don't even know what it is. They sell aids to use before taking drug test. They sell some light groceries but expect small containers and large prices.I don't know how they get all their products in the building. They are always nice and helpful.”

“I have always loved this store! I was born and raised here in Decatur, Alabama and I will be 43 in about a month.... and I just canNOT imagine Decatur without the Shell and Mr. Sam (the owner)! He is a WONDERFUL man, and he's very kind, friendly, and goes above and beyond to help anyone out. And I don't mean just at his store..... If there's ANYthing he can do to help ANYone out with ANYthing, he will do it!The store is always clean and the employees are always friendly and helpful as well. And they always have a wide range and large variety of snacks, drinks, candy, etc as well as the very large selection of liquor/alcoholic beverages on the Liquor Store side. And the parking lot is pretty big.... about the perfect size I'd say. And it's always clean and never has trash thrown around or anything. And it's very well lit up at night so that everyone feels safer.”

“First great thing.. this place is clean! Thank you! I got a safe place to park.. thank you! then.. I met Jeff and several other employees who treated me like family. I really felt at home.. like a special guest here. Thank you! The cashier was so friendly.. she recommending great bbq nearby… later she ask me how my lunch was and if I liked it.. ask me what I had.. ?? she came by to say good bye and say it was nice to meet me at the end of her shift.. she was so sweet.. the other cashier took time to help me get change for laundry.. thanks to Jeff.. I got an exceptionally clean nice shower.. just the way I like it with extra towels.. nice towel and wash cloth too.. he thanked me for what I do as a truck driver. I did my laundry & they kept offering me a chair to sit down.. it was unreal really unusual and very nice.. employees talked and shared truck stories.. helped me pass the time.. This is one of the best Pilots in the USA.. it’s the people.. it’s the pride they take in keeping this place nice.. it’s their friendliness.. their kindness in doing the extra things.. the little things & the big things.. I genuinely like it here.. so glad I decided to stop here. I am looking forward to coming back here again. Wow! Exceptional!”
