“Not a bad thrift store. Lots of items don’t have tags, mostly the toys. Probably torn off by a kid. Some of the toys are really dirty. Prices aren’t bad. Staff was friendly and helpful with missing tags.”

“The lady in the store (I assume the owner, I didn’t get her name) is always very helpful & went above & beyond helping me get what I needed for school. Although she doesn’t usually carry the color of a particular style I needed, she ordered them when she realized there were several of us looking for them. I went in to try on the style the other day & was informed she had ordered what I needed & they should be in later in the week. When I went in today, she had pulled what I needed (without me asking) & had them waiting when I went in. Just a great example of going above & beyond to help your customer.”

The store layout is intuitive, the departments are easy to navigate, and the merchandise is consistently well-stocked and organized. Even more than the products, I appreciate the people—the cashiers are kind, patient, and helpful, especially when I’m using my JCPenney Rewards (which always feel like a sweet little bonus for being a loyal shopper).

“I was just at this store and met a nice man named James in the jewelry department. He was very nice and polite. I was shocked at how nice the store looked. I was telling him how my local store in California didn't look that nice. I wish I had more time to look again but I saw it on the mall and it was one of my favorite stores I had to stop in to see how different an Alabama JCPENNEY'S is to a California one. I bought a few things, if I had more time I would have bought more. Great customer service”
“I stopped in for one thing. I found it quickly and got checked out immediately. They have a lot of merchandise sitting in the aisles, so you have to be careful to walk around it.”
“We are there often, shopping & love the clearance isle. We buy 98% of our groceries at Our Walmart. We like self checkout & the helpful, & pleasant assistance when required!
We greet the greeters, & help out by bringing back in the electric kart we use! Unless pain is holding us back!
