“The Tuscaloosa River Market is more than a place—it’s a rhythm. A breath of fresh air along the Black Warrior River where Saturdays begin with intention and end with connection.
From local honey and heirloom tomatoes to handmade soaps and wildflower bouquets, each vendor brings a piece of Alabama soil, soul, and story. I’ve walked these aisles with my son, coffee in hand, sunlight dancing off the water—grateful for the pause, the pace, the presence this space offers.
It’s the kind of place where time slows down, neighbors greet one another, and your senses remember what real feels like.
A sanctuary of slowness in a world that rushes.
A rooted space. A reflective joy.
We’ll be back, again and again.”
“I cant say enough good things about Bama B&B! We recently had a bridal shower here in the window room and it turned out better than we could have ever expected. Micheal answered any and all questions that I had and was happy to help with any accommodations we needed. I wish I could leave a 10-star review!”
“We had an awesome 90s and 2000s birthday party at Downtown Social. There was plenty of room the host and their guest. We at Elite Innovations LLC really appreciate the opportunity to be a part of this special event. Downtown Social has the perfect setting for all events”

“Great property, amaxing staff that accomodated any needs we had, and overall just a great time! One of the rooms had a sink that wasnt cleaned, and the second room we got wasn't the cleanest either, but it was very minimal dirt and grime. Overall the hotel was great and I would definitely stay here again. They even have a hot chocolate bar and cookies at night! Breakfast was amazing :)”
“Started off rough due to issues within the restaurant however management and server solved it as soon as our party spoke on it. Will be returning soon good job guys !”

“My wife and I had a fabulous time seeing J.J. Grey & Mofro at Two Dimes! I have been to this venue when it was under prior management, but this was the best version of this place I have ever seen. Very nice, upscale decorations and the lighting and sound were excellent. While there was no seating, there wasn't a bad spot to stand, dance, and watch the show. Service from the wait staff and bartenders was great, too. Will definitely be coming back!”
“Overall it’s a fair to good course. On a scale of poor, fair, good, very good, and excellent it’s a very good layout. There are hills and changes in elevation, a refreshing change from the flat courses in Florida. The driving range is small. The tees, fairways, and greens are fair to good condition. The carts have GPS Cart Screens which is nice.”
“Recently DJ’d a wedding there, had an amazing experience. The staff is eager to help, and on top of anything you need almost before you know you need it. It stands out to me, because you can see in the way they work that they communicate and have a tight bond.
Stuff like that goes so far with me, and is highly appreciated. I would gladly DJ this venue again, especially if next time I am there they let me go up to the third floor to see them ghosts.”
