“Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful which is not what I have generally experienced when checking into a motel late at night. The rooms were clean. The ac didn’t blow very cold. We had it turned down as low as we could get it and were still sweating. The refrigerator made a very loud obnoxious noise. The bed was AWFUL! Would have slept better on the floor. I picked this motel because the reviews stating the beds were so comfortable. I found that to be completely false. Water pressure in the shower was good and water was hot. Breakfast isn’t anything special. It’s exactly what you expect from a free breakfast in a motel. Overall, it’s an ok place to stay.”

“Two front desk associates really stood out. Shakeri and Casey went above and beyond outside of their normal duties. Casey took great care of my small dog due to me being away with family and Shakari help make another family member comfortable that has dementia. These two ladies need to be recognized by the company for all that they have done.”

“My wife and I went for a quick getaway for our wedding anniversary. We stayed during the week in the middle of June. The renovations are complete. The double queen room was uniquely decorated with a theme focused on The Shoals. We stayed in a room with a view of the pool, but we were able to see the river as well. We had dinner and breakfast at Swampers, and both were delicious. The pool area is really nice too and relaxing. We took advantage of the recently completed River Heritage trail next door to the hotel that belongs to the City of Florence. A great getaway that we will do again!”

“Such a relaxing boutique hotel to celebrate our anniversary! So much charm and character to indulge in. The common area outside of the rooms is gorgeous with dim lighting, lovely scented candles, and both nights that we stayed included live music. Just down the road we enjoyed several tours including Muscle Shoals Sound Studio, Fame Studios, WC Handy Home, Helen Keller Birthplace: Ivy Green, Frank Lloyd Wright-Rosenbaum House. These are just some of the highlights. Highly recommend spending time here!”

“The room was nice, clean, well stocked with towels. The room also had a really nice bathroom with enough space to get ready. I left a face cleansing tool in the room. The manager, Vicki, said they couldn't find it initially. She called me back a day or two later and found my face massager! It was a fairly pricey item, around $100. She sent it to me at no cost. The manager went above and beyond to get my item back to me. She even bubble wrapped it so it wouldn't get damaged in the mail. These people are so nice and genuinely honest. I will definitely be back to say again soon. ?

“I wish I could give this hotel more than five stars! Our stay here was absolutely wonderful! We stayed in the king suite and it was so clean and well stocked. We appreciate the kindness of all the staff and especially the front desk attendant Leah! She was kind, helpful, and extremely informative. Our stay here was so much better than the stay we just had over at the Marriott Shoals Hotel & Spa. This hotel may not boast the the "views", but as far as cleanliness and customer service, this hotel blows them out of the water! Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay! We will definitely be back!

Food and drinks: They have a small "marketplace" where you can purchase food, drinks, and snacks. They have many things there that you are able to cook like frozen pizzas, burritos, microwave meals, and other things of that nature. They also have candy bars and other types gummy/fruity candy.”

“Absolutely loved my stay. Clean, comfortable and the staff are so welcoming. I loved the room and enjoyed relaxing in the pool. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. I will definitely be booking there again.

Rooms: Extremely clean and had everything I needed.

Nearby activities: SHOPPING AND RESTAURANTS. Applebee's next door plus shopping across the street and just up the road.

Safety: Traveled alone, felt very safe on the property and the room

Food and drinks: The breakfast buffet had a variety of drinks and food. Hot, cold ready made or make your own.

Noteworthy details: I checked in and recieved a text message about 10 minutes later from the front desk asking if I needed anything. They were very kind and welcoming.”
