“After celebrating our 50th anniversary at George’s Steak Pit in Sheffield, AL we chose, after checking out the reviews, to stay over at this Hampton. It was a great experience, everything from the check in process and the quiet atmosphere to the checkout process with Khaliya as well as the breakfast experience with Janet as our breakfast Hostess. She was very polite and kept everything clean and well-stocked as well as putting together a to-go bag for our trip home. I would highly recommend this Hampton when traveling or dining in the area. Keep up the great job and your efforts to show Southern hospitality. Thank you”

“Perfectly situated hotel. Convenient for all surrounding areas. Restaurants. Shopping. Well lit parking lot for security. Pretty lobby area. The room was perfect. Large kitchenette- cooktop but no oven. Microwave. Full fridge. All cooking utensils and pots, pans and cups, plates. The couch is extremely comfortable. You can turn the TV to watch in the living area or bedroom. Bathroom is well lit with lots of mirrors. The toilet and shower are separated so it’s convenient for people to be showering while someone else is getting ready. Very comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Chest of drawers if you want to unpack. Lots of tables and chairs in the room. Breakfast is served every day.Rooms: See aboveSafety: Well lit parking.”

“I read the reviews and was a bit apprehensive but stayed there anyway. I am sure glad I did. This is an older building so not sure what some folks expected. It is clean. The staff are exceptionally nice. The Continental Breakfast is all anyone needs. The television worked fine with more channels to choose from. The bed was great. The bathroom was small but met all needs. The price was the BEST of all. Glad some of the snobs have kept the price down by trashing a really nice place to stay.”

“Disgusting. First room has so many ants in the sink and on the counter it looked like the countertop was alive. Called desk for a new room which they provided but got the strong sense that I was inconveniencing them by asking for a room with less insects. Second room had no bugs (that I am aware of) but couldn't use the heater as it let of a noxious smell of burning dust and mildew. Property was scuzzy also with shopping carts and garbage all over. Would not stay here again, would sleep in car first.”

“Very clean inside and out. Only negative was no breakfast or swimming pool because of the government lying about the deadliness of covid 19.The staff were very friendly. We stayed in a king size room with a recliner and the only recommendation would be for them to add 1 more comfortable chair. Having only the recliner and a desk chair means only one person can sit down and be comfortable. If we come back to Florence Al again I will be booking here again.”
