We brokered this load to a carrier (Sig Management) that “at the time” was in good standing with the FMCSA. SIG management then turned in Proof of Delivery to us and they were payed almost double what you say you hauled the load for. Then a couple of weeks later you show up saying you were never paid for hauling the load. We came to an agreement to pay your company another $1200 so that you wouldn’t be at a total loss. We took the loss because this was done for a church in which we were making nothing.
You should have done your homework. When taking a load from a broker you should always check with an agency such as Carrier Source or a factoring company to see if they are a broker in good standing.
As for QUICK SHOT TRUCKING, we have been in business since 1997 and have always paid who and what we were contracted to pay.”
