I’ve been with AT&T for years. Over 20. I was with them when they were called Cingular wireless and purchased the name AT&T from the original AT&T company.I’m traveling and my hotspot ran out of data. I came into the store and let them know I was a customer and was wondering if I could use their Wi-Fi to download some files.I was immediately turned away and told they don’t have a public Wi-Fi.I know they have Wi-Fi available because every AT&T store I’ve been to since and before has offered me the use of their Wi-Fi when traveling.There is a zero customers in this AT&T office. Just three people sitting around and leaning back and chairs doing nothing, and they turned me away.What happened to Customer Seervice and loyalty? This kind of stuff makes me seriously considering going with another business.Have a heart guys.Who knows maybe you can talk to me in a upgrading my service or buying a peripheral.I could’ve use some extra hotspot data in my data plan. I might’ve considered it if I had had a little bit of courtesy thrown my way.

Sarah J helped me save a lot of money on my monthly phone bill and was really helpful when I needed to get a good fast durable charger and wire for my phone. I'll be stopping in more often from now on to check out new accessories for my cell phone and phone plans thanks to Sarah.

I had the absolute worst experience in this store. Sunday August 6 my partner and I went in to the store to activate some pre paid phones. We simply wanted flip phones as a "house phone" for our kids who are not yet old enough for their own cell phones. However, in the hour that we were in this store with the 2 employees:1. Was told of the new protection plan available for my iPhone though this wasn't anything I was interested in. First the employee told me it was an extra $1/month on my plan. Then she says Oops! It's actually $3/month. I told her I don't care what it is, I DO NOT WANT THIS PROTECTION PLAN. I JUST WANT TO ACTIVATE THIS PRE PAID LINE. Then, a couple days later on August 8 I receive an email welcoming me to Asurion protection...which is an extra $17 on my monthly bill! Thankfully I was able to cancel this immediately online! I did not sign nor verbally agree to anything, yet this employee was able to add this to my bill without my consent.2. Neither employee listened at all to what we were saying. After reiterating we simply needed flip phones with no or little data, we were pushed repeatedly to get a higher plan "Because it has more data!"3. Was told we could not do a pre paid line for cheap, we had to get another phone line for $60.4. Pushed multiple times to get a family plan, even after explaining several times we did NOT want to get a family plan. ATT is horrible when you try to separate numbers, both my partner and I have dealt with the absolute headache it is to get OUT of a family plan. And yet, they could not resist bringing it up no less than 4 times during our interaction.5. We are now privy to the fact one of the employees is leaving this job for State Farm, much better job apparently so congrats I suppose? Not sure how this was relevant to our needs.6. We were subjected to uncomfortable "banter" between the employees that went on way too long. We are in Alaska, yes everyone is laid back, but it went past the point of laid back to just simply uncomfortable and very unprofessional.7. When my partner and I left the store we were under the impression nothing had changed with either of our plans. We did not activate any lines nor upgrade or otherwise change ANYTHING on either of our separate accounts.If I could give this store and these 2 employees less than 1 star review I absolutely would. The worst customer service I have had just about anywhere in Anchorage. I do not recommend this store, as they will not listen to you, and may change your account without your knowledge or consent.

This location is very understaffed and undertrained with no managerial support on site and poor managerial support over the phone. I needed a replacement sim card because I had dropped my phone in a lake. The store was staffed with only 2 associates. I waited over 2 hours while one associate attempted to help everyone at the same time and the younger of the two spent some time playing on her phone. I was charged $5 for a new sim card and was told that I would need to activate it over the phone because I didn't have a physical copy of my ID with me (It was also at the bottom of the lake). I was told when calling to activate that they were unable to process the request for an unknown reason that the customer service associate had never seen before. I called my wife to see if she could meet me there and present her ID. When she arrived, they were unable to get the sim card to work and they wanted to charge me for another one. During this time, they were periodically on the phone with their management to try and troubleshoot their non functioning credit card system and network connection with no success. I eventually left and handled it over the phone with the sim card that I had just purchased. I was told that I would be credited the $5 I had been charged on my next bill and that I should have never been charged for a new sim. Hopefully this location can get some better management, better training, better staff (the younger staff member had a very poor attitude, poor awareness of her co-workers needs, and was rude/abrasive to me when she couldn't fix my issue), and more staffing to handle customer needs.

My man Isaiah helped me out real good today. He actually changed my Outlook on AT&T devices. He also showed me a plan that works for my family and budget. He even gave me a veteran discount that really helped. Thanks Isaiah....I'm coming for that flip phone?...He was great.

I came in to get a new phone and had the best customer service experience I’ve ever had. If you need a new phone and want an amazing experience go in and ask for Alex!!! He will help you with whatever you need and answer any question you may have. I will definitely be going back to see him next time I need something.

Came in to do a trade-in promo and was met with a rep (William) that led me to expect things otherwise that would pop up on my bill. I was automatically enrolled to ATT Next program without my consent and was incorrectly told the trade-in would be more than what it was taken for (trade in was $800 in the fine print which I read but he told me it was going to be the full cost of the phone I traded in to $1,000). I came back and was told I basically had to call ATT because the brick and motar stores bascially have no accountability. I get it, it's customer service, no one expects reps there to be thrilled about their jobs, but please clarify what you are adding on to people's accounts and know what you're speaking to.

Definitely recommend this location. I have visited several times and the employees provided excellent customer service each time. I left the store with all of my needs met. They are also friendly and seem to enjoy their jobs!
