I obtained cash price quotes from a couple of local auto body shops for a recently purchased 2020 Kia Soul. Given I wasn’t using insurance for the repair, the quotes were a bit more than I wanted to spend and the repair timelines were weeks/months longer than desired.
I popped in on Ace Auto Body ( Mr. Kim), who was extremely accommodating. Not only was I quoted a remarkable price…he was able to work me in within a couple of days- with the repair work completed only a few days later. Ace Auto Body exceeded my expectations and I could not be happier with the work performed. It’s my opinion that they are likely the BEST value Auto Body Shop in town.

“Was involved in a hit and run. All the places I called were booked out for months. When I reached out to Salazar, he said he would look at it and quote me that very same day. He offers great work for an affordable price. Very trustworthy man. It took about a month for repairs however, that is due to shipping the parts and not his fault. Would recommend 100%.”

“I am a busy career minded single father with very little time on my hands and not a lot of excess funds. Chaz limited have gone out of their way to get my son and I back on the road. They were polite and eager to listen to my situation and find a way to work with me. They provided me with a quick turnaround on my vehicle being repaired. Went out of there way to find a rental near the repair shop. And when something was not convenient for me they went out of there way to provide me options that I was pleased with. Each individual at Chaz was amazing and helpful but I was lucky to work directly with Jourdyn who may be the best customer service individual I have ever had the pleasure of working with! Some companies feel very corporate, Chaz feels like family just trying to get you back on the road.”
“Let me tell you a story. I have USAA Insurance. They had me take my vehicle to Able Body Shop for an initial estimate on a mishap. I got an estimate on April 5 2021. Able was unable to get me in until June 1. So I waited while they ordered / received parts and found a time slot for me. I Drop my vehicle of June 1 and receive a call on June 4 about further issues. They spend 16 hrs disassembling my vehicle to tell me that I needed another 8k in work. I did not need another 8k in work. Moreover, we further discovered that Able hadn't ordered all the parts needed and had discarded a critical part for reinstall (of which they had to order a new one - delaying me 2 further weeks for delivery to A1) and they removed parts to include the AC compressor for no reason (requiring a recharge now)I shopped around Anchorage for another shop and found A1 amenable and capable of receiving my disassembled 2017 Tacoma. Not only did they fix it in less than two weeks, they allowed me full access to inputs, were extensively accommodating with my needs, and delivered me a competently repaired vehicle within an extensively shorter timeline and all at a reasonable cost. I have no doubt if i had gone to them in April i would have had an operable truck in April.
