“This place was amazing! So much better than going to the other washes in Anchorage where there’s nothing to actually touch your car. There was a whole team of people working on the car and spraying it down manually before going into the wash. I also noticed in the detailing center that an employee was cleaning the sunglasses of what looked to belong to the car’s owner. Will definitely come back exclusively here!”

“I brought my car here in dead of January winter during the cold snap before moving overseas. They worked with me because I had to get my studded tires off first before dropping off for detail. I picked up my car the next morning and it looked brand new with a little time before my turn-in appointment. Make sure if shipping a car, the gas is already 1/4 tank because the drop off is a 2 minute drive. I wish I had taken my car for an annual detail seriously they did incredible and my car was accepted. Super grateful to them.”

“It had been a number of years since I used this car wash and had gone elsewhere because it never seemed to do a good job. But this is to state that it has been fixed. I don't know what it was but my truck never got really clean. I went there a couple days ago and... Great job! I didn't go with the most expensive car wash, just the one less than that and I was quite satisfied and will return. It's a very convenient location.”

“Good location, but slow. Usually busy. A few times the person in front went slowly through the dryer, which cut my wash very short and basically wasted my money. Plan on waiting at least 30 minutes in line.”

“Saying William takes pride in his work is an understatement. Our family hadn't treated our King Ranch the way it should have been treated (2 young kids are messy!) and he turned it into something worthy of a king! Nothing was overlooked. Despite consistent car washes and cleaning out the truck, it had developed so much sap from the nasty cottonwood trees and the inside was much less to be desired. William worked his magic and now it is showroom ready. I have fallen back in love with the truck and will bring it back to him frequently! He is very reasonably priced and is quick to call back.”

“The only wash in Alaska that I've visited as of yet in 6 years that gets my pickup clean the first time (mudblaster wash)! Not even the ones that pull you though so as well cleaning. I wish they had one in Eagle River cause I miss them after we moved from Anchorage last summer.UpdateStill the best 2 years later”

“Update: I am a long term subscriber to the Alaska Laser Wash. There are times where the salt that they use in the intersections, will not come off in an automatic car wash. Decent experience here at Mt. View, this time. The last time I came here was 3 years ago. The worker that I dealt with was hella rude... and rushed me after I waited over an hour to get into the bay after waiting in line. He also complained about me using additional tire cleaner, that I brought with me. The brushes that are provided are not LONG and soft enough to clean behind the face of the rim. That's why I bring my own. Today I brought additional Chemical Guys tire cleaner and a brush that can get behind the face of the rim. The worker saw me, did not harass me. Rightfully so. I spent about $13 in about 10 minutes, and was in and out in a timely manner. This is why I am upgrading my review to four stars. I hope my next experience here, is like it was today. This place is a gem when things go right PSA: I highly recommend Chemical Guys products. Their products are 2nd to none. Especially their wheel cleaner.”

“Nice, quiet self service car wash. Heated garage, no waiting. Takes card or coin. $3.00 startup, reasonable timed rate following. Clean place, and everything functioned that I needed during my visit. Will use again in future. It's an older wash and the stalls aren't very large, might have difficulty fitting vehicles with extended cabs and full sized beds.”

“I had a gift certificate(good for one year) that would be expired by next available appointment. JP was nice enough to honor it and scheduled me in anyway! Great customer service! The detail was also done very well, my car looked like new! SHINY & CLEAN! Thank you detail crew and staff! Would recommend to anyone that wants a great detail service with great staff!”

“Update: they contacted me and I got a free wash to make up for the bad one! And when I got there, the one that had given me problems was closed. So I will be returning to them for giving me great customer service!I just went through and bought the highest wash available. It never got out of the cleaning stage, and it kicked me out with soap still on my car. I attempted to find someone and I called the number listed with no answer. I'm really frustrated at the fact that I HAVE to pay a second time to at least get the soap off of my car.”

“I went on a Saturday. It was packed... However, it didn't take as long as it looked like. They had almost all bays open and functioning. The guy helping out there was very friendly, replacing the buckets of water nonstop for the pre-wash scrub. I would stop there again even if I see it is awful full.”

“I have been a customer since 2000? or more. I like to use the undercarriage wash, the unique soft touch and triple foam for just $18 dollars. It left the car pretty clean ?. I had a one time problem, called the management and the guy arrived in minutes and fix it. Good customer service ? thanks”

“Returned a rental car today at Arctic Rainmaker. Could not be happier with the service we received!!! FREE vaccum, which was a pleasant surprise. Was having trouble with operating the vaccum, but the owner Riley came out and got us sorted. Someone had switched the hose from the air intake. Our mats were quite dirty from a 10 day fishing trip, again, Riley to the rescue. He pulled out the hose and provided us with a brush and bucket of soapy water to scrub it down. Highly recommend this establishment to all!!!”
