This locally owned DME company is one of the best I have ever worked with. The owner Joe and his team have the utmost compassion for the people in our community. Customer service is top notch, and their services were very prompt. I even received follow up correspondence after a delivery was made. I’d highly recommend Lake Otis Medical Supply!

I bought a couple of items I told the staff I wasn’t sure if I needed or not but they did not tell me about not being able to refund things. When I first went it, the staff appeared to be annoyed with helping me and answering my questions and they were very rude when it came to returning items even though they didn’t work. I will never go there again.

The staff at Lake Otis, especially Joe, were incredibly compassionate and helpful. I was in the market for a wheelchair for the first time in my life. As they were showing me the various models, the reality of the situation hit me and I burst into tears. They were so kind and took their time. I’m so thankful we have this level of care in Alaska.

Helpful and welcoming Went to get a S.I belt unfortunately most where to small but the girl working Olivia was so helpful and understanding. Really amazing atmosphere I did leave with something that worked for what I needed and she also threw on a discount out of the kindness of her heart. Thanks guys.

Traveling to Anchorage from Texas. Stopped in to get a part for my CPAP that I forgot to pack. They didn't have the part in stock but personally called another shop for me and set it up. Stand up people. Definitely would give my business to them every day of the week.

I can tell you that they will go out of their way to make sure any issues that may arise will be resolved and leave you with the feeling that your appreciated as a customer and will do whatever can possibly be done to make sure you are satisfied. And the fact that they are an Alaskan owned business tops it off.

After looking all over town I finally found a sturdy stool for my friend to help her through a medical condition that restricted her movement. The cost was the same as if I had to order one but I didn’t have to wait for it to be shipped! Joe was extremely helpful, making sure I had everything to take care of my friend. Thank you for the cane Joe!

This is a good family run DME (medical supply store). If they don't have what you need, they will order it. Service is very old times. They don't take returns, because with DME supplies, that's generally not appropriate. Before you accept you need to validate the item is correct (kinda like furniture.) My main reason for the 3 stats is it is Extremely expensive, (which is fairly common with mom and pops, since they are buying in small batches unlike companies like Amazon.)

The caring expert advice we have received from Lake Otis Medical Supply is second to none.We bought a wheel chair this past Spring for my Wife when she broke her ankle. There were several models to choose.Was just in today with my Mother to purchase a three wheeler Walker. Again several high quality models at competitive prices.Later today Staff is stopping by my Mother’s to fit a Trapeze, this will assist my Mother in getting out of her bed.Lake Otis Medical Supply is the Best in State

The staff here were amazing. We had an issue with a 4 wheel walker, missing bolt to secure a wheel. I went in here and spoke with them, they found a replacement that fitted so that we were able to continue our trip in safety..
