I brought my tiny 2 pound puppy in because I cannot find a harness that will fit him nor one he's willing to wear. The lady working helped get him fitted and let him try on multiple options in the store. They have great quality products in here and I love supporting a local business.

Daisy is always very sweet and personable, and she loads my dogs up on samples every time we see her. I’ve noticed my dogs slimmed down and have a shinier coat since I stopped giving them store-brand treats and switched to Drool Central. It gives me peace of mind knowing I’m giving my dogs the best nutrition for them to live long and healthy lives.

The animals were in clean comfortable housing. And the Bettas seemed SO happy. They had little bubblers for each one and they looked so healthy. Prices were affordable as well, I was able to get more than I expected. I will be coming to Anchorage specifically for Pet Zoo. A 3 hour drive is worth it for these folks. 10/10

Pool is like a lap size, with a ramp to allow slower dogs to get in/out. They use doggie life jackets. Have all the toys. Give you someone to assist if needed. After the session you are allowed to wash your dog. You might look at the session price and balk, but IMHO, it's 100% worth it. Give it a go, you'll wanna go back!

No scrapes, smooth cut, and listened to the specifics I wanted done for him. I was nervous taking my cat to a new spot and they're a little more expensive than other places but I was very happy with the groomer and end result. He is also much happier now too! I just wish they had a legit website

They seemed to know what they were doing. It did seem like it would’ve been easier for everyone if there was a table for the dog to be on for shots, etc.. (but I'm no expert)

Anchorage Veterinary Clinic and Urgent Care
8811 Toloff St, AnchorageI just had the best experience here. I was in the lobby waiting to be seen when my regular vet called and said they could get my dog in. They assessed my French Bulldog and made sure she was stable but respected I wanted to take her to my regular vet and they didn’t charge me anything. I offered to pay an exam fee and they declined. They also had me in/out very quick and were really helpful from the initial phone call. I will definitely be coming back here, if needed.

3710 Woodland Dr, AnchoragePlease don't listen to all of the negative reviews. I have had nothing but incredible service and care for all of the animals I have brought here. Customer service has always been very helpful and polite when I call. I had to reschedule at the last minute and it was taken care of quickly and professionally. The process to request a spay can seem cumbersome but the person that answered when I called the first time walked me through the process happily. The fact that it is about 5 times less money to have a dog spayed/neutered here helps as well.

VCA Alpine Animal Hospital
12531 Old Seward Hwy, AnchorageMy puppy had ingested a pill that had been dropped on the floor. My (used to be) regular veterinary hospital was too busy to try to save my puppy. THEY sent me to another vet that was also too busy to try to save my puppy. Now, keep in mind that the entire time, the clock is ticking down on my puppy. They MUST be treated within an hour. The second place sent me to Alpine. I walked in, and they scooped her up and treated her, no delay. I have since had my records transferred to Alpine and have already used them for one of our other dogs. I am sad to leave my other veterinary, but most of the vets are in the process of retiring, and I'm not very impressed with the one left. But I'm pretty sure I'm going to be very happy with my new doggie doctors!

We’ve been using this clinic for 8-9 years through several animals and the service is always great. While some say they are expensive, I will pay the money for the peace of mind. When it comes to serious medical issues I don’t trust anyone else with my pets.

I often pick him up close to closing and never get any pushback. The business is ran by very professional and kind gentlemen in a cute and convenient location, and their pricing is amazing. (The 1 star reviews doesn’t even make sense…its pride month and they do have pride gear on their property, they’re located next to a bar that also flies a pride flag. I’m almost positive the people giving Arfie’s a one star review had the wrong business). Happy pride month guys!

They were very professional and were responsive when family checked in while we were off grid for a few nights.

1601 E 84th Ave #107, AnchorageArctic Tails is Lexe’s new puppy play place. She is so excited to go on her days she literally dumps me at the door! When Lexe was attacked (in our neighborhood) she took a few days off and when I took her back to AT I explained what had happened. Later that day they called to say Lexe was doing just fine. They asked if I wanted them to clean her ear which had been ripped in the attack. We had done some but I sure. They spent 2 hours carefully cleaning her up and cutting her hair near the rip. I can’t thank them enough. Lexe is a 9 lb. Papillion that loves Arctic Tails. I highly recommend AT and all their staff.

There was a small strip of buildings adjacent to the parking lot and all we could see was the word biscuit… we had been talking about getting a good biscuit as soon as we arrived to Anchorage well this place is A++. The service was excellent. The décor was so inviting friendly and colorful. The staff was soooooo sweet and accommodating!! We loved every part of this BISCUIT CLUB… and did I mention… the BISCUITS…. awesome !!!!! my only disappointment was I did not get a T-shirt because there were none left in my size.☹️ but that just let me know for sure this place is great!!!

Also, for my fellow local Alaskans we all know in the winter when our windows freeze shut on those wet, cold early mornings, they so kindly took the ice scraper to my window for me so I could use it to get my coffee rather than trying to open my door, LOVE them!

The service was just as sweet as the treats. Everyone was so friendly, kind, and helpful—making the whole experience feel fun and welcoming. They even made my day by giving my bloodhound her very own pup cup ??. That little touch showed just how thoughtful they are toward every customer, human or furry.
It’s such a cheerful place with great energy, and the people truly make it special. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors (and I think my dog will insist we return too). Highly recommend!

I want to make a special note that they have a server there that remembers my food allergies and wine of choice even after only dining in a few times.
