“I haven't used this place in a while, but when I did they upgraded security. They had options of different sizes and good hours of access, hopefuLLy the owner is stiLL the same she was reaLLy nice. It's located inbetween Spenard and Midtown a little closer to Spenard, a nice central location. Also their prices were reasonable.”
“I can't say anything bad about this place except the entry keypad misses numbers sometimes and you might have to enter your # a couple times to get the gate to open. It beeps when you push the button correctly, but you can't hear the beep most times....”

“Have used Ship Creek Storage for both item and vehicle storage and have been very happy. Recently I moved my car back to my place before the end of the month intending to cancel storage and forgot to do so before I saw the bill that happens at start of month. "Oops oh well" I thought. But they noticed I removed the car, emailed to ask if I still wanted the spot, I said no and they refunded the charge for the month, all without me ever even asking. Can't imagine better customer service than that.”

“Great Place to store! Older Mini-storage with great rates and locally owned. Just Changed their name to Discount Storage which fits their prices! After calling around I was surprised at the discounted rate I was offered!!Easy access for my large moving truck. They were quick to give me free recycled packing boxes when I ran out...I'd stopped by the office to buy boxes and they offered the use of recycled boxes that you return when you move out. Great idea! I'm looking forward to free heat in winter and there's no hidden fees such as computer fees, sign up fees etc. one guy I met had been there 3 years and hadn't had a rent increase. I called around to other storage companies and none would guarantee no rate increase for 6 months or more like Discount did. The unit I rented was $80 cheaper than the closest competitor!!Great price and Nice people!”

“After some issues with this company I can confidently say that if you communicate a problem to Mia and she has the time to deal with it she likely will.The movers were respectful enough. I would think about the protection plan if you have anything remotely fancy but that’s the case with any move. The responses for the planning were prompt and they did respond in accordance with my timeline to the best of their abilities.Mia has gone above and beyond to ensure to right the wrongs we experienced in our move so far. I had a couple problems with the service, I addressed these problems with the claims department and Mia. The claims department was entirely useless they basically told me that because I did not purchase the protection plan I’m SOL. I was offered an honestly disrespectful amount to replace some items that were broken or did not make it. Mia however stepped up to the plate and made our issues her priority. She was awesome. She clarified on every topic I brought up to her and really impressed me by fixing the problems I brought up.All in all I would likely do business with again thanks to Mia’s efforts after the fact. Thanks Mia!”
