“The customer service here is excellent. The associate Jason was personable and knowledgeable in his shoe recommendations; unfortunately, after bringing the shoe home and trying it out (Dansko slip resistant kitchen shoe) it did not perform to standard. The shoe was not in resell-able condition, and manager Troy went to bat for me with Dansko to be able to issue a refund for a defective product. The associates here are really exceptional and I’m extremely grateful for the assistance I received.”

“Skinny Raven is my favorite shoe store for the best walking and running shoes. I always have the best customer service and my family loves to come here to buy their shoes as well. I love how you can walk in and tell them you have bad knees or plantar fasciitis and they will come back with recommendations that best serve your needs. My feet and knees thank them for the amazing shoes and in soles they have. They also carry my favorite sunglasses here. Definitely stop by this store to get the best care you deserve.”
“I came into this Journeys while the store was super busy and clearly understaffed. I asked to try on a lot of shoes probably 4-5 pairs each, and even though i didn’t end up buying most of them, Jazz never once made me feel rushed, annoying, or like a burden.
Her attitude was AMAZING the entire time she was patient, kind, upbeat, and genuinely happy to help, even while juggling a hectic store. That alone says so much about her work ethic. She handled everything with grace and professionalism and made me feel completely welcome and taken care of when she really didn’t have to.
In the end, she went above and beyond to help me pick out the perfect pair of UGGs and Vans, and even recommended an UGG repair kit so I could keep them nice long term. That level of care and attention is rare. She wasn’t just doing her job, she was truly looking out for me as a customer.
She absolutely, without question, deserves a raise immediately. Employees like Jazz are the reason people come back, and she represents this store in the best possible way.

“I stopped at this store unexpectedly after our dinner. It’s almost winter time and I was in need for at least one big coat for daily use since I came to Alaska with only summer stuff.Both ladies who were working before closing time today went above and beyond with me! I was looking for a specific style that they didn’t have available in store and was trying things on. The girl was very helpful and knowledgeable even about how I shouldn’t get the white one if I live in the side of town where the snow could be a bit dirtier. I ended up getting my first winter coat with them and the lady at the counter wished me happy birthday and even said, welcome to Alaska. What a wonderful experience with this store even when they were about to close! I’ll be back for more:D”

“I was about to walk out empty handed after looking around for good shoes for my plantar fasciitis. Jason stopped us and asked if there was anything in particular we were looking for. He found me a bunch of shoes to try on to help relieve my heel pain. We settled on a pair, and a week later, I’m still happy he stopped us.”
“This small business is located downtown on 4th Ave, in the "333," building. The owner is kind, knowledgeable, and dependable. Although he's got a decent amount of inventory on-site, he is also open to requests. My spouse wanted a specific Yeezy color-way in a highly sought after size. The owner had them available for my spouse to purchase in a reasonable amount of time. Northwest's kicks are certified authentic and cheaper than StockX. Having dealt with Cache Alaska (Northwests' only competitor) on two different occasions, Northwest definitely provides a personal shopping experience in comparison. This business is needed and we will continue to support it. Highly recommend.”

“This Footlocker is conveniently located on the 1st floor of the 5th Ave Mall. Workers are always friendly and helpful. Clothing sales and shoe options rotate frequently. We are able to find our sizes more than half the time we visit. Recently, due to not having a size we needed for an exchange, we had to request a refund. Luckily, it was quick and easy.”

“I had the absolute best experience at this store. The nice manager I believe it was Brittany was the absolute greatest salesman. Literally went above and beyond to help find what I wanted, in her capacity to make sure I was satisfied. The only thing that maybe was off the tension you could feel from the other associate who was staring at us the entire time. Customer service is a harder job than most think but when your coworkers sabatoge you it's gotta be even more difficult. Hopefully this is something the coworker can fix cause this new manager made me a customer for life as long as she is working, I will come back again. But please please folks get along with each other your toxic work à affects the customers.”

“I took my 13 year old into the Dimond Center Footlocker around 8:15 on a Wednesday evening. I very friendly and knowledgeable young man named Castell helped us even though it was close to closing time and I'm sure he was ready to go home. The store was out of what my daughter had in mind however he showed her several like pairs of shoes and she found something she was really happy with. I was super impressed with his level of effort. I realized after left he had helped us before. A older lady with short gray hair snapped at him in a unprofessional manner. I wish I had said something to her then. I really hope this lady isn't getting away with degrading employees. The young adults/kids that work there deserve respect and I hope they know they have rights as employees to be treated professionally.”
