Transmission Repair
“Needed a driveahaft cut, re-welded and balanced. Took them less than a week to do the work and have it mailed back to me. Extremely fast turnaround and was done correctly the first time. Fair pricing, competent staff, and a great turnaround time. What all shops should strive to be, could not recommend enough.”
“They were able to get me in immediately and fix up my car, along with providing extra services at no charge. They are quick, efficient, thorough, and very pleasant to work with! I will be recommending them to my friends and family for sure!!”
“I took my H2 in to them thinking I was having transmission problems. They changed something, replaced something and when I picked it up it was still having the same issues. They took it back with absolutely no problem ... replaced two other things until they finally figured it out. They did not charge me for the additional work necessary to fix my rig. They are a business that stands behind their work and won't give up until the issue is resolved! I would recommend this place hands down. And on a good note, it wasn't my transmission after all! Thank you In and Out Transmission, we need more businesses like you around!”
“I was really in a bind needing repairs and snow tire change over at the same time but have so many doctor appointments that it was a challenge. I just couldn’t work with my dealership because they don’t answer their phones. I mistakenly went to Chaz and was turned down due to collision damage work only there although I told the receptionist what repairs that I needed. I stopped by Hale’s Technical to ask if they could get me in. They have done excellent work for me in the past. Desiree, told me to bring it in on Monday and they would do everything in a day. They replaced my water pump, a belt, belt pulley and changed over the tires. Their awesome intern, Moira gave me a ride when I had none and was so sweet and friendly. Hale’s Technical came in about $400.00 less than what my dealership had quoted. They are a family business in midtown and have a convenient location. The best part is that Desiree, her husband and all of their employees truly care about their customers. You can’t go wrong here!”
“I needed a wheel bearing and hub assembly replaced ASAP because it was failing and I had to make a trip out to the valley. Other shops told me it would be a few days. Tudor Auto & Truck Repair was able to squeeze me in immediately and perform the work. I expected to pay a premium because of this, but they actually charged incredibly fair and reasonable book and part rates. I was expecting the cost would come to like $700-800 but it ended up being like $550. The work was done promptly and well, and while I waited I got to play with their cute little puppy dog. 5/5, would recommend.”
“This place is absolutely incredible! Honest, reliable, knowledgeable, and always willing to help at a timely manner that best suits you! I would so certainly recommend these guys.”
“Highly recommend! My 2013 Honda Fit check engine light came on while I was in town for an early morning work meeting. Turned out I had a spark plug had worked loose. I started at the dealership with a $13K estimate to replace the head. I called Fred at Alaskan Auto Center and he immediately found me a used engine for $1K. He ended up fixing the problem for ten times less than the dealership, we did not need to replace the engine. Great shop, I will be back if I have any auto problems in ANC again. Thanks Fred!”
“Does great work, kept me in the loop about my vehicle and what it needs. Made sure to do my whole break system correctly without causing any other issues or damages. Always so kind also when communicating with the customer. Highly recommend.”
