“Employee Recognition – August 9
I wanted to take a moment to recognize an employee who went above and beyond during my visit on August 9 when I came to see the Spider-Man movie.
When I got to my seat, there was some popcorn spilled on it and the seat was wet. It was the only seat that had any mess on it, so I’m sure it was something that happened after the theater had already been cleaned. I found an employee walking by outside another theater and asked if he could help me.
I believe his name was Zee (I’m not 100% sure—I remember him mentioning that he had a difficult name and people often called him something else). Regardless of his name, I remember how kind and polite he was. He immediately helped me with the situation and did so with such good manners and a pleasant attitude.
It may seem like a small thing, but I really appreciated that he took the time to help me without making me feel like I was inconveniencing him. I actually told him that I would make sure his manager knew how helpful he was, but unfortunately, after my movie ended, I couldn’t find an employee to give the compliment to directly.
So I wanted to leave this recognition here instead. I hope his manager sees this and is able to give him the recognition he deserves. Employees like him make a difference, and I just wanted to make sure his kindness didn’t go unnoticed.

“I stumbled across this place just looking for something to take the kids to in the winter. It looked promising, and so we went. The friendly lady at the front desk was very helpful, and when I was about to pay over $70 to get my whole family in, she suggested the annual pass, which is $100. I did this, and I'm glad, because we'll definitely be back.
There is quite a lot packed into such a small building, but we ended up spending over an hour there. The exhibits are varied, interesting and many of them are hands on, which the kids loved.
There are bathrooms, tables to eat snacks, dig pits for the smaller kids, and the scavenger hunt was good fun.
All in all, a perfect spot to go if you're looking to get the kids out of the house for a bit.”

“lovely cabin-vibe clubhouse with a beautiful view of the water featuring high wood ceilings, built-in hanging twinkle lights, fireplace, kitchen, dancefloor, and dressing room. tables and chairs are provided. rates are reasonable. the venue is versatile, it can handle casual or formal events. I've hosted a birthday party there but also attended a wedding reception there too. parking lot is on the small side so events with more guests would need to find street parking”

“In early August we had the pleasure of staying at Diamond Center Hotel. While this trip was planned for 18 months Mother Nature stepped in and changed all of those plans.
Originally, we were to stay for the first 2 night of the trip and then 1 night in the middle of the trip. The beginning of the trip had a rough start and on the morning of checking out when we arrived at the airport to fly to our bear viewing excursion the fog, clouds and rain had us grounded. This delay replayed repeatedly and reminded me of the Groundhog Day movie. Each morning, I would attempt to check out only to be back within an hour and staying for another night.
While everyone on the staff was great, I have to give a special shout out to Manika and Afi. They helped me keep some sense of humor to the situation. While everything else around me was falling apart they made sure that I had a room each night which took a great deal of pressure off of our back. I cannot say thank you enough to them.
In total we spent 5 nights in the beginning of the trip and 1 night middle of the trip which I’m not sure we can count as middle as I was only gone for 1 night and then back before we proceeded to our next destination.
All the rooms we were in are nice, and clean. We had 4 rooms total throughout our stay and not once did I feel the room was unkept.
I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

“They have a Scandinavian Bazaar every year in October. This was my first time going. It was absolutely fabulous. Such a fun festive feel to it. Vendors inside and outside. Food was wonderful. This is a must attend!! Looking forward to going next year! SKOLL ?? VIKINGS ?”
“The gyros are A+++! Homemade tzatziki sauce, warm pita, absolutely delicious. The loukamades (fried dough), frappe, and homemade pastries are all a must too. The church tours and bookstore are beautiful. All the volunteers from the church are welcoming. The Greek fest atmosphere is super fun and they even have a band from Athens who flies in! Opa!”

“A totally serviceable courtyard with well appointed rooms near the airport. There is a shuttle that runs 24/7 if you call ahead which is great and you can check in at any time.
The downside was that you gotta pay for the breakfast bar for 18.99$ and if you weren’t a member you get charged for the wifi. It’s free to be a member so don’t overlook this.
If you are looking for a good breakfast go to snow city cafe ?️❤️”

“I stayed here two weeks ago for two nights, very friendly staff. I really enjoyed using the swimming pool & hot tub felt amazing. This is my second time staying here, 3 nights in a row. I definitely jumped in the hot tub a few times during this trip. No regrets. Love the hot continental breakfast included with your stay. Waffles ? and oatmeal were my go to yummys.”
