About Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge
Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge is a charming retreat located between Anchorage and Valdez, close to Wrangell-St. Elias National Park. Guests appreciate the cozy lodge atmosphere, highlighted by a great room with a fireplace, high ceilings, and stunning views of the surrounding forest and mountains. The outdoor seating area is inviting, offering a relaxing space for visitors. Many reviews praise the friendly and efficient staff across the front desk, gift shop, and restaurant. The lodge features nice rooms that are connected to the main area, creating a hotel-like experience. While the scenery is breathtaking, some guests feel the lodge is somewhat dated, and noted that the food options can be limited or average at times, particularly on Sundays. The lodge has an onsite garden used for fresh salads and drinks, and there are a few trails for exploring the property. However, the mosquito presence can be quite intense during the summer months. Despite these drawbacks, many guests find it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoying nature, especially during the scenic autumn season. Overall, Copper River Princess Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful and intimate destination for those looking to unwind in a stunning landscape.

Nice rooms, location is remote. No fridge and no safe. For the most part food was average, service in the buffet was lacking but the tavern staff was on it. Okay

Staff are fantastic. Princess cruises need to lift their game. Very limited wine selection, everything you asked for they had run out. Half the food offered on the menu had run out. No chef Sundays so limited food offered.. Not the luxury tour that was sold to us.
