“We had our driveshaft U-joints burst 240 miles from Fairbanks leaving us stranded between Chicken and Tok shortly after arriving into Alaska from the Yukon. There isn't a towing center with large enough equipment in Tok nor a qualified service center to make the repairs of this kind on our Class A DP. After contacting Ben's through our Roadside Assistance Program it was arranged to have Ben's come out with their Landoll to bring us to Fairbanks on this special flatbed. Kevin, the office contact, gave us precise information as to who and when the truck would arrive as we were 42 miles outside of any cellphone coverage once we returned to our motor-home to wait.Dave the truck driver / equipment operator arrived on schedule and immediately set out loading us up. Dave is a first class operator and person. Once we arrived in Fairbanks, around midnight, our Rig was set off gingerly and Dave made sure everything he could do for us was done. “The service provided was engaged by the American Motorcyclist Association which was responding to my need for help. I left my bike at a roadside rest stop 60 miles from Fairbanks, my destination at the time. I had an unrepairable flat in my front tire. This was 8pm at night. I chose to get a ride home for the night. The next day Save-on-Towing dispatched a truck to fetch my bike and deliver it to Fairbanks. They did this according to the planned schedule talking care with my bike and unloading it exactly where I requested. I was very pleased with this service and would recommend Save on Towing to anyone needing help with their vehicle.”

“Had car troubles all the way out at the Yukon River Base Camp, they came to get us as timely as was possible and the driver (Victor) was friendly and helpful pointing us to our mechanic options in town. Also dropped the car off at a mechanic and took us back to our place. A bit pricey but that is what it is when your car has issues on the way to the Arctic circle!”
