“Great little place to visit. It has fishing and hunting gear upstairs. Hardware and automotive downstairs. The staff could use some training. They tend to focus on those who they know and are very suspicious of customers who don't just come in and hang out on a regular basis. I feel comfortable saying this as I have been a customer for over 40 years and, for some reason, get treated as a thief each time I enter the store nowadays, sadly.”
“I've got to hand it to the Nugget, that after all these years and the online retail boom, they're still here! From what I've seen they never have anything that's junk, unlike your REI's, and Sportsman's. Nice variety of raingear form and function to cover a variety of needs from outdoor recreational to commercial. They can order specific items up as well and prices are reasonable especially if you participate in their rebate program. A locally owned and operated essential retailer in Juneau we should support whenever possible!”
