“So glad this service is here. Many businesses a person orders from in the lower 48 will not ship to Alaska. Carlile has a Depot in Tacoma WA. When your package arrives in Tacoma, you are notified. You simply sign in to your account and pay their freight charge and your package is on its way to Alaska. It is much cheaper than any other shipping method besides Amazon Prime Free Shipping. And, not everything from Amazon ships to Alaska either. When your package arrives in Alaska, Carlile notifies you and you simply go pick it up at one of their terminals. They will transport almost anything - tires, car parts, pallets, almost anything! I can only speak for the Kenai Terminal but their personnel have always been friendly, concerned, and eager to help. “I was surprised that there was no hand truck available to bring in multiple boxes. I have used this location for 25 years and they have always had a hand truck or dolly for customers convenience. Other wise employees are very friendly and helpful ?”

“I am so appreciative of the extra mile the Kenai postal service workers have gone on my behalf. I have had a postal worker arrange a after hours let me hurry grab my two large boxes at 5:15 and hold packages that were huge taking up space for a few days til I could get into Kenai. Lastly… always responding to my messages and never mean rude or nasty… here is the kick in the pants part ….
My mailbox has been in Nikiski for about a year (I moved down last Oct) I don’t know why but a few boxes just do a different route. Kenai USPS doesn’t have to ever help me out but they do. They also took a whole Nikiski post office into Kenai usps for a couple months and made that work out for all of us patrons too. Postal Rock Stars! Five stars! Thank you! All Saints!”
