“This was our first visit here in Ketchikan. I stopped in for a quick look and found the cutest things!! I fell in Love with the locally made whales made from recycled clothing!! So cute!! So creative!! I just had to have one, so I purchased one. I also bought some locally made soaps . There is a wide variety of options and scents. I purchased orange and cloves. Items are pricey but worth it.”

“As a local I LOVE going into the Captain’s Lady- with so many handmade goods from around the state this store really embodies Ketchikan and the women who live here. Jaimie is such a sweet lady and is always there with a smile. Support local; buy local.”
“Very friendly helpful people as well as selection of clothes. Was intown during a recent cruise and needing a more formal dress shirt for dinner back on the ship. The staff were able to assist measurements and suggestions with shirt and tie colors.”
“After a tour to the Saxman House, a totem pole workshop and an explanation of the totem poles nearby, the store was an opportunity to use the restroom and shop. I purchased a formline whale sticker to stick on my Earthwell water bottle. There was clothing, house goods, jewelry and much more. Review #72 of 100 in 2023.”

“A woman owned business with unique locally designed apparel, candles, incense, and other goods. This was such a breath of fresh air over the cookie cutter T-Shirt/hoodie designs in souvenir shops from our 3 previous port visits on our cruise. They are one of the few stores/shops that has offered a military/veteran discount which also sets them apart. This is definitely worth a stop and the best specialty shop in Ketchikan!”
