The Palmer / Anchorage North KOA Journey is a year-round campground conveniently located as a gateway to Alaskan adventures. It is described as a really nice, great, and super nice KOA with very friendly, helpful, attentive, and welcoming staff. The campground offers spacious sites that are a bit larger than typical, including pull-through full-hookup sites, tent sites, and very nice cabins. Guests consistently note that the facilities are very clean, with great, super clean restrooms and showers. The laundry room is clean with plenty of washers and dryers and an on-site change machine. Amenities include a nice playground for kids, a covered area with seating and a clean grill for socializing, and a gift shop with reasonably priced items. The campground is easy to get to, provides easy access, and is a quiet place for relaxation. Many guests plan to return, noting it fits all their needs and is a place they would be more than happy to stay at again.
We stayed 2 separate nights in a tent it was quite bathroom was close by but had to walk 50 yards more for a shower. Tent spot were right along privacy fence that has what I take it as apartments right behind you but never heard anyone or paid much attention to it
