Old Harbor Books is a great little bookstore in Sitka, Alaska, considered a must-stop while in town. It offers a wonderful and absolutely wonderful collection of books, with lots of Alaska books and also popular fiction and non-fiction. The selection includes beautiful book designs and an awesome selection of Alaskan, Indigenous, and BIPOC authors. The store has a lot to look at and buy, making it a great place to grab a souvenir or a next vacation read. A charming feature is the adorable Corgi named Peach, and sometimes a golden retriever puppy, that guests can enjoy. Additionally, there is a quaint coffee shop in the back of the bookstore, called the Backdoor Cafe, which serves amazing drinks, great coffee with alt milks, and handmade pastries baked daily. The store also houses a gorgeous printing press in the middle of the room. The staff is super nice, contributing to one of the best bookstore experiences.
