“I visited this store last summer on a cruise my family took with my 86 year old grandma. We took the train ride up there, and it was the one excursion I was able to do with my grandma. Afterward, we visited this adorable Christmas Store, where I found the perfect ornament to commemorate the train ride. After putting the ornament up for Christmas this past year, my dog decided it was a good chew toy and destroyed it. I reached out to the Christmas Store to see if I could buy a replacement. They didn't have one at the time but reached out to me over the summer and sent me a replacement. I couldn't believe the owns, John and Cia, remembered and were kind enough to reach out to me. If you plan to go to Skagway, I would highly recommend stopping by and supporting this store.”
“This is a beautiful store with so many items that are Alaskan made. The staff is knowledgeable about the local artists and products. I bought several Swedish dishcloths with local artist works on them. The salmon leather bracelet is a new favorite as is the earrings made with Skagway sand. Also bought a can of the Alaskan smoked salmon which was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend obtaining your Alaskan treasures here!”
“Buckshot & Bobby Pins is a great little shop. There is something for everyone. Beautiful gift selections, Alaska made products, books, toys, stickers, journals, food items, very unique items. This is definitely not like all the typical tourist shops. Please keep walking down Broadway there is more to see than the “same old stuff”!”
“I went to the Skagway Outlet Store after having gone to about 10 stores along the main street in the little hamlet and by far their prices were the best. To their credit, they had a nice selection of items similar to their competitors with far superior prices, and a larger selection from which to choose.
Down the street, I was quoted a price of two earrings for $100!!! Here I purchased three pairs of earrings in a more fashion forward style for the reasonable price of $14.99 each!
I must say I have not seen a prettier selection of earrings in the city at the price point I was looking for.”
“It's totally awesome. Staff is so very knowledgeable about their products. It is like going to a museum. The artifacts are wonderful. There is an artifact from 500 BC along with artifacts as old as 10,000 years old. The Balen baskets are so beautiful. The staff can tell you who made them. A beautiful store. Just stop by and see for yourself.”

“We did a cruise recently and this was hands-down my favorite shop. The staff was absolutely wonderful. I loved the locally made items. We found some fantastic jewelry and keepsakes that actually came from Alaska. That is super hard to do since most of the shops are owned by the cruise ships and most items are made elsewhere. My favorite items were locally made Forget me Not earrings and an Alaskan art sticker by number book.”
