“The Skagway Elks Lodge is an amazing spot to visit for members!
This lodge is quite spacious and filled with character. We had the pleasure of chatting with some friendly locals and even got a tour of the lodge. One of the coolest features is the older bowling alley inside, which we learned they open up for locals during the colder months—a unique and charming touch. The location is fantastic, making it an easy and fun stop while in town.
We had such a great time and can’t wait to return on our next cruise!”

“This was a pretty nice hotel. We learned from the locals that the restaurant in this hotel is where all the locals go for a mice dinner out, as it is much more affordable than the tourist-priced restaurants on the main drag. The meal was quite good with great service. The hotel is run by the Holland America Cruise Line, so everything was very nice and a decent value at $200 a night. One thing we did not like, is there is no wifi in the rooms, it is only available in the lobby, cafe and restaurants. I am not sure why they do this, but if I'm on business, I don't want to be having to do that in the lobby; I'd much rather take a zoom call in the privacy of my room.”
“I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. I was nervous traveling with my baby to Skagway because the other hotel options weren’t great and the name of this hotel is odd but we loved it. I could tell it has been recently renovated and painted. The amenities in the room were clean and comfortable (bed, sheets, extra fuzzy blanket). No smoky or musty smell. New clean tub, bathroom heater, comfortable bed, 2 spacious vanities we got the king suite. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating as well. It’s also very conveniently located to anywhere downtown. The entrance leads directly to the outside but I still felt safe here. The TV set up was modern too. The only negative was one of the chairs was broken in our room & a few lightbulbs out on the vanity but I’m sure they would have replaced it if we brought it up. They were also kind enough to let us stay an extra hour before checking out. Overall highly recommend this hotel if visiting Skagway!”
